Welcome to senior year of college, when you realize that most of your friends are complete tool sheds and you want nothing more than a whiff of actual reality. Hang in there, bud. College will be over soon enough and all those negatives you are feeling about it will soon become sad that you aren't living it anymore. Real life is great, don't get me wrong, but college was just an absolute blast, regardless of all the drama and bullshit that goes on. You'll realize this a few years out of college …

Yeah. I met this girl at orientation before freshman year of college. We talked, clicked, blah blah blah. Fast forward to the first week of college and we went out together (to a bar with a bunch of people) on one of the first nights. We ended up going back to the dorms together and the rest was history. This kept up for about 2-3 months until I caught word that she started telling people we were officially together. She was extremely clingy and jealous so it made for quite a bit of drama the fi…

And a revolt would be impossible. We may have guns but they've got drones, ships, nukes, jets, subs... Not that I condone one, but I don't agree with this. 60M+ people voted for Trump, and that number has probably not changed much to this day. That is a lot of power. You have to remember that the military and the police work for Us. There are far, far more of us than there are them. I'd love to see what would happen if our government gave the military in the U.S. the order to turn on the people …

For those who are older MGTOW (30+), how did you get over the biological and psychological pressure of having a spouse and kids? How and what did you find purpose? I'm not older than 30, but I've been MGTOW for some time now. It takes a while to fill the void of constantly searching for the one; The wife, the child, the house, the car, the one. By not taking the time to, and devoting your life to these things, you afford yourself the time to devote your life to yourself. Through this self devoti…

We retreated to the one place left that didn't hate us for the circumstances of our birth. The one place that let us fight the monsters without being called monsters ourselves. The one place where we could be at peace and be accepted, even if we were only being accepted by fictional nonentities. It was the last corner of existence we could hide. This sounds very, very similar to a golf course (shh, it's secret)...

I thought this was a good read and thought it might be worthwhile to post it in here, as this sub (to me) is about men advancing themselves in this world, without the help from society as a whole. Just a bit of a reminder to never let yourself get comfortable, never give up, and never allow your fear of failure to overcome your motivation for success. As men, we can do anything we want in this life (well, you get what I mean).

Ok. But even without women in your life there are still "devil's." The term you're looking for is vice. You will have to replace women with something. Make sure it's a good vice, and not a bad one.

It's also because of the cost savings. IMO, men are typically much more price conscious, and thus understand how much it costs and how much one wastes by eating out or ordering in three times per day, seven days per week. When I was in college and was renting a house with some buddies my Jr/Sr year, I cooked at home almost exclusively because it saved money. I was going grocery shopping to have food at home and then going out and spending $10-$15 per meal on fast food/etc. It was rediculous, so …

I think it's great that women are starting to learn how to figure out their lives for themselves. Means it will cost men less money as time progresses, and women will genetically, overtime, learn 'responsibility.'

Work is a necessary evil. Nobody wants to go to work for 40, 50, 60 hours per week, but we have to. Good luck on your interviews, I am glad they are going well, I hope you find a good job soon as I know the market can be a bear. It sounds like you are already starting to recognize that you two were just not a good match and destined to fail. So why put yourself back in that position? Why care so much about what would have inevitably failed? You say you lost her because you didn't love her enough…

This is important - try to do divorce by yourselves (it's called Pro Se Divorce) instead of involving lawyers - lawyers are going to push you to use their services as they charge by the hour so they're in business of divorces - have that in mind. This is extremely important. A lot of people in here jump to the "lawyer up" conclusion really fast, without giving any substance. Lawyers are expensive, but they're expensive for a reason. Supply/demand. Divorce lawyers are in the business for a reason…

Know that you will. Stick around, read up and really get into the meat and potatoes. You're at the point where the pill is on your tongue, you just have to swallow it. It's a scary point in life to start to realize that everything you've been told and taught to believe regarding society is a fallacy, but it's necessary for your success in the future. You have to realize that you only have one chance to live this life. One. You don't get any do overs. These last two days laying on the couch, regr…

Seriously, don't be. I know you're feeling a bit emotional toward women in general, and you have every right to. But stick around these parts for a little while and read up on what people in here have to say. There's a lot of wisdom to be shared in this sub once you get past the 'Women are the devil!' threads. It will help you understand where we are coming from. If you base your success and potential in life on how women view you (online dating), you're going to be fucking miserable for the res…

Ego stroke. 90% of women on Tinder will swipe right and get a match every, single, time. Online dating is cancerous if you actually want to find something real from it. It does not get used in the way that it did 5-7 years ago. I am just glad that I was in college during the heyday of Tinder.

You're not the only one. A lot of people in here think this way, but there are some that as u/boringcarpets points out, are TRP/PUA types that are on the cusp of MGTOW but haven't truly figured out what it means yet. Until they do, they're at an awkward crossroad between GTOW and revenge-fucking-over any women they can because women are evil. Again, I think the women-hating and shaming in this sub gives us a bad name, or at least can as we grow in popularity and more eyes start watching what we'…

I think that's harsh. MGTOW is what you make of it. It's a personal destiny and a personal choice/path in life. Yours might be different than someone else's. I've been MGTOW since I was about 19 and in college. I swallowed the red pill early in life and realized that I wasn't at school to party, make friends, have this wild social life, etc. Even though i still did all those things and made some great memories along the way, I never let it get in the way of the end goal- getting a degree in four…

It's called the MSF most likely (at least in America). About 2-3 days of in-class and seat time and on the last day you take a motorcycle road test which gives you a "certificate" to take to the DMV and get your official M class. However, what now makes me happy is constantly eating McDonald's and Pizza Hut, playing computer games, hanging out with friends and watching movies. You can do whatever you want in this life. It's your right, your freedom. However you have to differentiate what makes you happy, and what makes you unhealthy. McDonald's makes everyone happy. I will play devil's advocate. As much as I think it was badass of you to put her in her place like that, I think you were a little harsh. This isn't just women, this is society. I am willing to bet that you have people in your life, male and female, that you consider (or once considered) your friend(s), that only come around or contact you when they need something? Unfortunately, I think we're getting a lot of RP and MRAs in the MGTOW sub, which isn't a bad thing by any means, but is important for these people to realize the true definition of MGTOW before passing judgement onto others. Being embarrassed by the stickers on someone else's car tells me you really haven't discovered the true meaning of MGTOW yet.

We all know the reason, I was no longer the strong man in her eyes, she lost all attraction and pussy went dry when she sniffed my depression. I don't think that is true. I also don't think it's healthy to blame it on your depression, it only makes it worse. Use this as a lesson and look at it as a blessing. You now have time to spend on your health, mentally and physically. Spend time, money and effort on yourself, rather than some broad that swings from branch to branch.

Yeah, and like others have said, most men have a hard time as it is holding a conversation, so talking about work gives us at least something to keep the conversation flowing. Agree 100%. Whether you believe it or not, for every women you decide not to bow down and lick heals for, there's 10 men that will. So, as others have said, "go your own way." That's what this is all about. Swallowing the red pill and realizing that what you were brought up to believe is right in society isn't actually always right. This is an inner realization and you're not going to convert anyone to think the way you do. Only they can convert themselves through logic and reason.

Men ask this question because most men are career oriented. We have to be. We don't have the luxury of finding a S/O to take care of us, we have to take care of us. This means working long, hard hours, whether it be at a desk or over a machine. So, next time a man asks what you do for a living, don't take it personally as him trying to size you up. Take it as him trying to find a common ground/interest between the two of you. For example, I'm an analyst for an investment company, but I love manu…

You see it with many relationships; the woman (and man, in many cases) get comfortable and no longer need to worry so much about their appearance as they have someone who accepts them for who they are internally. Many men, after kids, marriage, joint accounts, etc., are forced to live with their [now] overweight, slobby significant others that refuse to put in the necessary work to maintain a healthy body/lifestyle simply because it's easier to be …

I know you're joking, but this is physically impossible, yet it technically is already happening if you think about it. Notice how single men filing independent get little to nothing back in taxes every year, but pay the same as a married couple filing jointly, if not more? It all works out in the end, however, because single men tend to spend less money throughout the year.

Imagine this, because you used the term "invest." Typically, when you invest in something, you are expecting to generate a return on the capital invested, or in simple terms ROI (Return on Investment). If the investment does not make any money, it is deemed a bad investment. If the investment loses money, it is deemed an exceptionally bad investment. However, if the investment makes money, it is deemed a good investment. The key to successful investing is to make only good investments, and never…

A women is against a prenup because it protects the man. OP, the reason that she fell off and drifted is because she was spoon fed for most of her childhood, like many young women are. Young women are perceived as these innocent, fragile creatures, and thus, are protected and monitored and catered to growing up. All this does is make it that much more difficult for a women to actually develop the natural work ethic that it takes to survive on their own in the real world. OP's post is a perfect e…

We've had a few instinces in the past, 5 years or so give or take, where male college students have passed out randomly on a walk home from a party and passed away due to hypothermia. I'd say probably 3-4, in the last few years alone. Every winter, expect to hear one or two stories. What is the reason - they were drunk and disorderly, were abusing alcohol and drugs, had a troubled childhood, weren't a good student, blah blah blah. When it happens to a women? "Why didn't anyone stop and help her!…

Stalk you? Here's a few tips to help you not feel so self conscious about your social media presence: 1) Make it private 2) Don't post things you don't want others to see 3) You are an "outcast" because the majority of society uses some form of social media. It doesn't make you a bad person or weird or strange, but it makes you an "outcast" by definition. Trust me, people don't care enough about your social media presence to "stalk you." You sound insecure.

I never said you don't, I just said it's important to give everyone a chance at being treated respectfully and like a human being. If you want to put a blanket over a large group of people in society simply because you don't think exactly like them, by all means. But it's going to make you one miserable and lonely person for the rest of your life. You already sound it, to be honest.
/r/MGTOW27/04/17 06:35 PM

Yes, but it's important not to shun these kinds of people in society. Treat them with respect and dignity just as you wish to be treated, but have a limit as to when you cut these people off so that they don't start to dictate your life and your decisions. After all, MGTOW is about awareness and self fulfillment, not about hating any and everyone in eye sight. That will make you one miserable and lonely person for the rest of your life. "Life is simple. You make choices and you don't look back."…

My mother (and father) raised me to be a strong independent man, dammit! Did you go through high school? And then college? The majority of men these days would bow down and spit shine a pussy if they were told to do so. This is all the product of society. I did as well. Can't say I appreciated it at the time but now that I am "older" I absolutely appreciate my parents sending me to a top tier, all male high school. I believe this, but an observation I have made which I kind of find strange is that the "stange looking couples" or those that weren't complete knock outs growing up, produce some of the best looking offspring, while those that were probably models back in the day, produce some awkward looking offspring. Just the other day I was walking in to a restaurant behind a mother, father and their daughter. Their daughter was gorgeous, but I could tell she didn't know it. Very polite and shy. Her parents…

As a hobbyist (automotive, nature, advertisement), photography is like golf - you'll always be improving and you'll never be perfect, but you can master it. I am not MGTOW, but I am a 24 year old young professional that has a solid education, income, a couple toys, a cool ass cat, and a super simple life. I will not change it for anyone. Bullshit. 95% of men would walk up to a table of women having a conversation and 1) be laughed away or 2) be told to go away. If it's weird for a guy to join a table without talking, why isn't it weird for a woman to do it?

I see this kind of thing all the time at bars on the weekend. Tons of women sitting at tables by themselves absolutely miserable because maybe a year or two prior they would have had men crawling up their asshole for a sniff. There are ways to protect your assets during marriage, are there not? Prenup? Separate finances? Both employed? You are correct that divorce is devastating for the majority of men. But modern day feminism should actually help.
