Justice system works acording to the law that is designed. Not the other way round. Once a man is accused under 498a, he gets the status of "guilty until proven innocent". An immediate arrest is made. It's not just the man, the man and his relatives can be put into jail. It's not because of the justice system, but the terms of the law which dictates the things which can be taken into action. Indian laws are highly biased against men.

I'm an Indian, and I'm terrified of marriage because of section 498a of our Indian Penal Code. This law in my country is the most abused law against men and their families.
