2	Anger I don't understand how you can be this confused by my response: I'm saying that one significant example of why feminism is dangerous is that it taught a generation of women to believe men are oppressing them, and that this has nothing to do with human instinct or the "need to protect women". 5	Anger I thought we were past the "It's just human nature" argument. Civilization only exists because of humans being able to overcome our base urges, so that's no excuse. And what we're seeing today is a result of indoctrination, more than human instinct. It's never been like this before in human history. We never thought that women were an oppressed class and men only exist to oppress them, and that men in general are stupid and women are smart. The biggest losing move for any group is being naive and thinking every little thing is a win, or a "step in the right direction" as you're dubbing it, instead of actually dealing with the reality in front of you.
