5	CIS Male is a slur It truly lets the side down. You can’t claim to fight sexism and prejudice by doing the exact same thing. I thought this sub was to fill the gaps which feminism overlooks, because we NEED to focus on both mens and women’s rights. -1	CIS Male is a slur I’d hoped this place was progressive but this has really exposed this subs true colors. I’m now realising trans men would never be allowed to be a part of this conversation - evidently not a safe space. Why this resistance to modern ways of describing someone accurately? If you’re part of the ‘I’m just a dude crowd? don’t call me cis’, that would make you (knowingly or not) part of the trans men arent men and trans women aren’t women crowd, which is a viewpoint I cannot stand by or respect.	/r/MensRights	30/06/26 06:56 AM

I’m friends with many people under the trans umbrella and they exclusively use the term ‘cis man’ as a purely factual statement same way they would ‘trans woman’ etc. It’s just a way to accurately and sensitively describe someones gender	/r/MensRights	29/06/26 11:25 PM
