It is victim blaming to say it's about the woman's boundaries when it's actually because a woman is economically marginalized or disabled and therefore has no other option for survival, or when he'll kill her if she leaves. Most murders by spousal abusers happen because the abuse victim has left. Many abusers wear a mask of normality for some time and are very good at it, then drop it at a point where the woman is most vulnerable. That's not about her boundaries. That's a straight up con job. It…

👍 Truth. It's about power imbalance. People with less life experience are easier to manipulate and dominate, whereas women their own age have had the experience to spot abusers a mile off and will tend to shun them. Plus younger people usually have a lower income and financial insecurity can be used to suck them into a toxic relationship. The funny thing is that there's counter-predation with some young women who are just after an older guy's money. Scrotes screech at the "injustice" of that, bu…

Somebody, likely a scrote, just tried to school me that it's about "fertility". Riiiiight, even though an age gap is most common in second marriages when most men have already had kids, they're deeply concerned about our fertility. Even though the article references research showing that the greater gender equality in a society is, the less likely men are to seek "fertility". <humming a little tune>

They're worried about losing what they see as their entitlements; sex and caretaking without being deserving of it and subservience. FDS principles, if widely applied, would leave them without women to abuse.

By his mid to late thirties he's questionable and you should be careful. By his 40s he's a verifiable douchebag. Abort mission on single over 40 guys. Only if he got divorced because his wife truly was a bitch or they both decided they didn't belong together is a divorced man safe for consumption either, and you have to somehow check his story. The pool of dateable men is so small I'm not even trying. I don't even want to at this point.

Exactly. Men aren't a scarce resource or in great demand. Women are. Any OLD site will have way more men than women. Same with any bar where people hook up. Women get to the point of being sick of their shit and just stop dating, but men never tire of abusing women, so we're always in demand. This guy is totally projecting his own fear of dying alone without a nursemaid because he's a porn-addled loser. Men seldom nurse women, so we don't need them when we're old. They just become dead weight. T…

Ask him for a source for his claim that 98% watch and "most" have loving, commited relationships. Sure, that's why the divorce rate is 50% and most of them are initiated by women, because men are so "loving and commited". Women divorce "loving, commited" men constantly. We run in the other direction when we see one of them, too. Gawd, what a jerkoff. He can FOAD with his fake concern. He's a manipulative, depraved pig like all porn freaks.

Yes, it's probably so rare in men it's not even a statistical blip. I've seen my brother become less of a jerk as he aged and gained some wisdom, but the difference isn't big. He's still a jerk. He's just not an insufferable jerk. Privileged people have no incentive to become better human beings. That's why rich people are such assholes. I'm saying don't date men who like the thrill of chasing rather than the woman herself. That is a chaser. Pursuing somebody because he likes her does not make a man a chaser.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/03/20 06:41 PM

This is actually dangerous thinking. The problem is that the relationship is based on the thrill of the chase. Men who need that thrill always cheat, because when they've "caught" a woman, they lose interest. They see women as commodities to be acquired, commodities which lose value thereafter. That's why they can't feel anything for women they don't have to chase- they consider them low value commodities. Chasers are the last men we should be dating. Misogynists, all of them.

Absolutely true. He's an empty shell, not an enigma to try to solve. He doesn't show feelings because they aren't there, not because, as the standard excuse goes "men aren't good at showing feelings". If he seems like he doesn't care, it's because -shock and chagrin!- he actually doesn't care.

It is indeed hilarious. Saying correlation does not prove causation in this case is only further proof of their idiocy. Imagine them slapping their foreheads when you point out what that actually means. Either porn makes them stupid or stupid people use porn. Either way, they're stupid. Lol. In any case, one study looked at brains before and after. They found the men had lost grey matter after a period of watching just 4 hours of porn in a month. That's causation.

They think their wives are exceptional until the wife refuses to give in to unreasonable demands. Then she is terrible. This is spot on with a lot of the advice I see. One woman was being verbally abused, had a newborn and the husband ignored both her and the child while texting most of the day (probably cheating). Somebody told her to APOLOGIZE to him and be patient because men, the poor dears, just don't know how to parent. We wimmens are naturally good at that, but the mens need to be taught. Barf! That's an interesting theory. Psychologists say attachment disorders are caused by attachment trauma with caregivers in early childhood. The same should then hold true of attachment "issues". Relationship security is unlike personal security in that it may or may not be an attachment problem, because often it makes sense to be insecure about a partner. That would be our cue to leave that partner. Personal security is about how you feel about yourself, not others. I agree that it could certainly cause relationship difficulties, but it isn't in itself about attachment. What you describe is a cultural problem more than a psychological one. I have read extensively about it and never once have I read anything saying that everyone is on that spectrum. Not being secure in yourself is not an attachment problem. "Depending on the partner"? If you are insecure in your relationship because your partner isn't trustworthy, that isn't an attachment problem, it's your common sense telling you to dump that partner. That's what FDS is all about, remember?

Whether or not it's a disorder can be tested, so obviously there is a line. In practice, if it seriously fucks up your life, it's a disorder. Somebody having a seriously fucked up life should be pretty clear. "Everyone has anxious and avoidant tendencies" is untrue. Where did you get that from?

If he doesn't regret it, he's a scumbag with no moral compass. He will probably want you to do porn with him. I wouldn't believe his story of being abused, either. You must mean an attachment disorder. At that level, it is indeed hard. If it's just "issues", nah. People overcome attachment issues all the time. The usual way they do that is by finding a securely attached partner and following her/his example. I was with somebody who had both anxious and avoidant tendencies. He had a good example to follow in me, but simply didn't want to deal with his problems.

Gross! The hooker fuckers are the worst. They're one small step above rapists.

That sucks. :-(

You could study and apprentice into one of the skilled trades. More women than ever are getting into them and they pay well. It's in low paying unskilled work where you'll find the most discrimination.

Yes, I believe both of these motives were in operation.

That's my personal slang term. By all means use it.

🎻 Then Scarlett flounced off into the sunset, her cheeks blazing in humliation and her petticoat dragging in the plantation dirt. The freed slaves snickered in her wake.

Of course he is. I had an ex who used the lube he jerked off with lying in plain sight. It's hostile.

Anal. Seriously. As soon as they mention that, run. Also, drama. As in; "not looking for drama". That translates into; "I'm looking to create it by being a horrible asshole, then call you a drama queen."

Absolutely. It's a backhanded slap. They give a compliment, then take it away with criticism.

Bwahahahaa! Right, he wants to see them because he considers them "non sexual body parts". I'm sure he's equally desperate to see her arms and toes. The sad thing is that there are actually idiots so enthralled by penis people that they will fall for a line like that.

Relying on skewed semantics as an argument isn't illogical. It's just alternative logic. It doesn't make your argument weaker. It actually gives it a titanium coating. Embrace your courageous inner liar, for only in lies do we find the real truth.

I had a similar situation. I suspected he wasn't that into me on the first date and not over his last relationship. But he surprised me a few days later by asking for another date and seeming quite enthusiastic. I had the flu, so I told him I'd let him know when I was well enough to go out. A week later I did as I had promised, but I got a brush off that was borderline rude, then silence. So I blocked him. Trust your instincts.

This is why there is what's known as the suicide belt in the poorest southern and midwestern states. It affects young working white class men. They feel a sense of entitlement (to a good job, to sexual access to women) which they cannot have. It's partly due to automation and other changes in the labour market, but also due to the fact that they refuse to train in female dominated, growing fields such as health care, because they look down on these jobs. They expect to be miners or autoworkers l…

That's a classic covert narcissist; passive aggression, superficial "nice guy" charm, pathological lying and a desperate need for attention.

So true. I knew I had an LVM on my hands when I wrote a screenplay that everybody else insisted was amazing. He had to be urged to even read it and then had no comment. They resent you being good at anything and they want you to fail to in order to protect their fragile egos.

Have you ever experienced it? I haven't. Even seemingly "nice" guys tend to reveal themselves as entitled, power-tripping cretins as soon as you invest in them. I'm sure HVM are out there, but they do seem to be in short supply.

He's lying. The real reason is because he suspects he's such a loser that nobody will want to marry him. He's right about that.

They marry because they are like children, utterly dependent on a mommy stand-in to get their "needs" (really just selfish whims) met. It burdens them that their wives actually have needs too.

The last one I encountered was so into going his own way he wouldn't leave me TF alone. Their motto is You Can't Fire Me Because I Quit. Pathetic frauds, the lot of them.

This is the cousin starement to "Nobody will ever love you like I do." You will only ever hear these claims from a man who treats you terribly. This is a line of B.S. reasoning abusers use to keep you under their control.

That was one of that pig Gian Ghomeshi's favourite lines. He used to come up behind female coworkers and whisper it in their ears while pressing his ugly bits on their asses.

Totally. An allegedly "good guy" once said to me during sex; "I suppose it's possible to enjoy a rape." Those exact words.

"I love anal and watching porn during sex. I'm totally empowered by my sexuality!" Riiiight. That's not your sexuality, that's his, and he's a creep. Fake "empowerment" syndrome is everywhere.
