Easier said than done... only those with a spine stand their ground. And thanks to MGTOW, it gave me that little extra morale that helped motivate me to take all the steps to sabotage the arranged marriage. Source: life experience.

When you have a growing number of fatherless men who grow up with all this guilt as they were brainwashed with the idea that they're an evil nazi monster oppressor just because they're male.. of course you'll get people like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVz_ej7wS98 and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhmOx0zThGg

I think there are quite a number of mgtow youtubers that have gained some attention and subs. They might have come here after hearing about mgtow for the first time. Also, I remember that some large newspaper outlet talked about men 'checking out of society' and the fledging mgtow movement, so that's another source of new members.

I don't see that much woman-hating here. There are quite a lot of posts that show examples of why starting a relationship with a woman is a losing game. You get venting posts here and there, along with stories (more like caution stories) of men who lost cases/alimony etc. While I think that its good to focus more on our shortcomings, and how to improve on our weaknesses to become more independent, we need to keep an eye on whats going on around us, so we can prepare and adapt to new changes in l…

The common trope I hear from 30-50 year old divorced chicks is they did everything, he didn't work, goes to jail, doesn't want anything to do with the kids, and he doesn't pay child suport They throw so many excuses out there don't they? I wonder if they ever accept similar excuses from men like this.

If your partner cheats on you in retaliation to your actions, she's giving you the green light to move on Its not that simple. Its more like she's giving herself the green light to go back to the cock carousel, at your expense. but you fucked up when you married her. Damn right... the man has lost the battle the moment he signed the wedding papers (or got her pregnant).

Mate-guarding is commonplace in the animal kingdom. Don't get me started on the cis-patriarchy of right wing shitlord lions who deny the female lions their freedom /s

First, it became 'ok' to forgive your wife if she cheated on the husband (although the husband would be financially and literally chained for life if it was the other way round). Then it was ok for a wife to beat the woman that cheated on her husband, and then punish her husband afterwards. Now its incorrect to show anger towards the man that slept with your wife... lol what's next? kiss him and bow down to his glory? The only reasonable choice is not to get involved in the first place, no fight…

I'm from the Gulf region, I don't want to specify which country... which isn't really saying anything because these countries have some common cultural ground. Men used to be highly valued because they were breadwinners... a family of 5 boys + daddy will get a lot more farming/trading/work done than 1 man, to the point that in historic (pre-islamic) times, people used to bury their daughters alive so that only the boys remain (because they want offspring to carry their family name, not to have a…

I know right? If only we could apply this to nations, we could all coexist... and march shoulder to shoulder to the future. The other reason is that no matter where you're from... a man's pain is understood universally, by all men and only men.

One - The concept of multiple wives, according to my knowledge, came from a time when Islam was a relatively young religion and people were too busy dying rather than having kids. So as a consequence, you had many widows and too few men. So in order to compensate, they came up with the rule/decree that a man can 'support' up to 4 wives (his wife + 3 widows). The definition has been twisted and warped to the point that the answer to your question really depends on the type of society, wealth and …

And remember, refusing to marry them won't stop them from attempting to get pregnant with your child. One of their main hallmarks is when they won't allow you to use a condom, instead, they will try to deceive you by claiming to rely on other disproved methods because they "know better". They will try all the tricks in their books to seduce you.. so they can get their free income for 18 years.

This is true. The man has a financial responsibility (though it varies from country to country in the Arab world) where he financially supports her even if she has a job i.e. she can ask for more if she burnt through her wages by stocking up D&Gs. Her main responsibility is to make kids and indoctrinate the kids against their father raising the kids. A career is completely up to her, the man has absolutely no say, she can have a STEM-field career, or a career in shopping. Edit: This is what baff…

People think of your culture as oppressing women because it expects women to be pregnant and unemployed the majority of her life, while you seem to see it as "coddling women, letting them have everything in life without working for it". You have no idea... The amount of guilt tripping when someone DARES question a woman's committment in a family is akin to blasphemy. They use the 'holy mothers' card: "A man once asked the Prophet to whom he should show the most kindness. The Prophet replied: "Yo…

Good for you man. Its great to hear things have been going well for you. Part of TRP is to focus on yourself, rather than becoming this selfless, self-sacrificial white knight who's thinking about others (or someone) all the time. And now, in your stage, on the brink of success, is where the other aspect of TRP comes in. These women will try to latch on to you and ride on your success, all the while, holding you, your wealth and kids as hostages. When they say "oh I don't know what I'm doing wit…

That's what I was thinking... what's the thing that would make Persian women more 'special' than other women? I don't know. But remember, its the ideology and mentality of "me first, then the rest" that's messing up lives, not their ethnicity.

You're half right, we aren't entitled to everything, unlike women, who are entitled to everything, because... pussy. But we are entitled to our work or what we make with our own time, dedication and study. No one in the world can take such a sacred thing from a man... or a woman! We are entitled to what we attain from work or sweat of our brow. Why should we be at the center of the party if we don't want to go to a fucking party? What's the rush on getting a girlfriend or having a relationship? …

In her case from their point of view, its the woes of a poor, disadvantaged woman who deserves a man (or men?) to throw his wallet at her, drop to his knees and worship the fucking shoes she walks on. Honestly translation of title is: "woman looks for a walking bank man, 130 men go running away instead."

Even though those messages, which might have been made by people before them, were simple, they could easily be twisted to dominate the illiterate and dull-minded masses, who in turn indoctrinate their offspring from childhood and thus, maintain the cycle of ignorance. But thanks to mass education and the internet, people are waking up and more men are refusing to bend over to society's wishes.

In case of adultery, both the man and woman are executed, if the man isn't married, he's given a number of lashes with the whip (anything over 30-40 is deadly as it isn't the normal whip). If she's divorced and has kids, she's entitled to child support... although they don't split off the mans assets like they do in the west.

Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule. Not all girls are sluts/whores i.e. some of them (a diminishing number might I add) are indeed family oriented and even are pissed off by arranged marriages/attitudes like I am. I'm just hammering at the ideology that's dominating the society (and previous societies) and forcing everybody to "carry the tradition".

Thanks for your post. I agree with the part about Lebanese women 100%, went to Beirut once... it was really nice and would love to go there again. And LTRs are pretty big no no over here... if I wanted to do such a thing I would need to close shop and go elsewhere. And I agree, with all the BP stuff going around, almost all my peers are married... and they're deadly jealous of me because I'm single. Hammurabi, you've figured it out. They diet like hell and some even become anorexics just to get married, then 3-4 kids later, they'd make Jabba the Hutt say "DAAAAAMN". The impact of delaying marriage - Doubts and rumors begin to emerge about the man doing this, they start to question his sexual drive and begin to suspect that he either has an extra-marital relationship or has become a homosexual. The social/peer pressure slowly starts increasing in the mid-late 30s until the mid 40s, where the…

EXACTLY, they have this obsessive groupthink of "HURR DURR WE HAF 2 MAINTAIN OUR TRADISHIONZ" without thinking of the current day and age we live in. I mean, for example, one of the things that increases the dowry value is virginity, if she's found to be a virgin, she has more cred honor. The problem is that there is a surgical procedure to repair the hymen, basically to make her a virgin again and 'erase' any history of sexual encounters. The man on the other hand, is ALWAYS under scrutiny. Oh …

Nope... gotta worship that one pussy, it's worth more than 10,000 hungry mouths /s It seriously shows you the long-lasting toxic effect of some women on weaker-willed men. Not only do they drive their wallet and self-esteem into the ground, they also give them that little flicker of hope, to torture them in the long term. And if they fall for it and keep on endlessly thinking about that 1 hoe, then tbh they fucking deserve it.

Its quite contradictory over here... on one side, your told that a man is the one he defines himself, his character and/or is independent... but on the other side, they're endlessly obsessed with what other people think of themselves and their families "muh honor". Oh and the "respect your elders" mantra is being blurted over there all the time, basically, "What I say is right because I'm older than you kthxbai" Like I said, its a mish-mash of old and new, and the culture doesn't know which side…

These are words of truth. I remember coming across advice from other MGTOWs to get "eastern" girlfriends/wives because they're "different". This is so fucking wrong... in so many ways as explained in my above post. Just because she has a different skin color/ethnicity doesn't mean that she's automatically a sane person... she could be as crazy as a purple-haired pumpkin-spice latte chugging social justice warrior from San Francisco and vice versa. Oh and I went for a short trip to the desert, fo…

Thanks for your advice... This subreddit, along with r/redpill are my first steps to join such a network. I'm taking all the necessary steps to get the hell out of where as soon as I can... honestly I'd take racist bigotry over a backwards society any day. The thing about western culture/society is that corrupt media raises the volume of bigots voices. You can find groups/communities of sane, thinking people if you look hard enough.

I agree, this is definitely bullshit. Its not fair, I trudged my way through university and I'm working my ass off and this is the shit I get. Not cool man... not cool at all. But to clarify, its not a matter of honor killing... the western equivalent of my parents' attitude to me calling off the marriage is the same dissatisfaction of parents that have a son that never went to college and became a couch potato.

There's just 1 element of MGTOW that I'm a little bit skeptical about... isn't all this enactment of legislation and control of men a form of population control? In other words, do you think they'd do all this to breed from the submissive men and then let the bolder 'real' men die out because they left their system? Thank you VERY much for your informative answers... along with the info from the sidebar, this will take a short while to digest. By the way, I'd like to add some context since its n…

woooow. What the hell happened? Where did they get all these privileges? Also another question, suppose a MGTOW wanted to and had children with a (non-married) partner and then she decided to pull the plug and take the children, would the case of child custody still be tilted to their advantage even though they're not married?

What I don't understand is some of these vocal women all talk about independence from 'the man and patriarchy', but why do they fight tooth and nail for child custody, alimony and inheritance of assets (on divorce)? Thanks for the info btw... damn so marriage is a losing game for men these days :-( if it turns out bad for women, they can hop on to the next man, while the first man is left in the dust with alimony, memories of his children and (potentially) stigma.

EDIT: With scum teaching their daughters to think like this, it comforts me to know that I won't be contributing to their gene pool and I'm doing my part in denying the propagation of their genes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Xak94SF4Kw "You can marry to more money than you'll make in a lifetime"... LOOOOOL I am VERY grateful to have discovered this. To whoever thought MGTOW up, those who helped to build/establish it and those who contribute/follow this, I salute all of you.
