Politicians ponder to those that can maintain them in power. Women have the right to vote, so he's just sucking up, to the detriment of equality.

[The LA Times] (http://www.latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-mh-pregnancy-20131101,0,5148721.story#axzz2jipYEZ3D) makes a compelling argument as to why men should be buying maternity coverage. The TL;DR is that it would reduce rates for women interested, and married men could use the coverage for their spouse. I don't necessarily agree, but that's the argument

I don't see how feminism can claim the moral high ground while turning around and making a blatantly objectifying video.

"I'm beginning to think it's time for vigilante justice – civil disobedience," he said, elaborating that he "may pull a Carrie Nation on the Ladies' Nights clubs." Because an axe-wielding vandal is definitely going to help the MRM

From my interpretation of the OP's intent, the point was noting the sentence length wasn't "meant for" the woman. As in, it was meant to hurt men. The male victim was largely ignored because he was not central to the OPs point, though justice to the male victim is certainly a valid concern for other noteworthy points. There should have been a more prompt investigation into the facts to sort all this out in the original thread, because that would have saved this from happening If anything, a bett…

I almost posted the same thing. I don't think castigating debate is reasonable. Especially in genderless defintions of criminal sentencing, this subreddit has all the reasons to debate mandatory minimums because mandatory minimums affect men and women. This is Men's Rights, right?

I suppose I was thinking somewhere closer her committing sexual assault, but I didn't look into the details of the trial. 10 to life might be a lot, but I am curious as to why the NV legislature thought that most fitting

"...possibility of parole after 10 years." Yeah I don't feel too bad about this judgement. Life without parole? Different story.

Oftentimes researchers use victim surveys and other polls besides police reports to measure crimes. Basically researchers would interview a sample size and extrapolate. The problem with this is that not only is there still under-reporting (victims afraid to confess) but there are numerous types of over-reporting: criminal reports being raped because s/he raped someone, victim reports being raped based on his/her definition that does not match the poll definition, and a few other reasons. Sometim…

The comment section on articles like this makes me furious: "Potential new mates are scared off by the craziness. Possibly this is why there are so many single men these days. So sad, the price men have to pay for their delusions of privilege -- being alone when they reach middle age." delusions of privilege

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
