| -1 | She cheated but won’t sign papers unless I say I want a divorce.Bro people are garbage. Has nothing to do with gender. Way too many dudes on this sub have this mindset. If you want to hate women because one that you were married to was crap, go for it, but that’s a terrible take. There are just as many men that treat women like ass as there women who treat men like ass. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/05/23 04:50 PM |
mother's dayNot much input in regards to the specifics, but my former mother in law was great to me and the first Mother’s Day after my divorce I let her know so. She was appreciative (not that I expected her to not be), but that’s the last words we ever spoke to each other and it kinda sucks. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/05/23 07:01 AM
I wish I could understandThe only thing you need to understand is that it’s over and time to move forward. Easier said than done. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/04/23 12:32 AM
FairytaleOnce my divorce was final, I changed everything communication wise so she had no way to reach me. Idk where she’s at now, but she didn’t know where I was the day after it was final. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/23 03:59 AM
When does life get better?Anytime bud. As much as it sucks to admit it, it takes more effort than I put in originally to get to a better place. This sub has been really great for me. You’re not alone and you are definitely strong enough to fight through. I’m proud of you for reaching out. It’s more difficult than most would admit to do so. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/23 05:40 AM
When does life get better?2 yrs out and still don’t have an answer to your question tbh. Lots of similarities in our stories. That being said, I made tons of terrible moves once she decided it was over. Focus on yourself and stay away from booze. My life has become a shit show because of my poor decisions after separation. You’re the master of your ship brother. You got this. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/23 05:30 AM
Am I on track to get a divorce or are these just “typical problems”Stop being so self centered. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 08:19 AM
Am I on track to get a divorce or are these just “typical problems”If he continues down this path it’s highly unlikely that he’ll live a happy life with anyone, his current wife or anyone potentially after. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 08:19 AM
What music did you listen to during your divorce?Nothing. I got into talk radio in the hopes that it would make me think about something else. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/03/23 12:45 AM
Has anyone ever filed for divorce under “cruelty”Record anything and everything you can | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/03/23 05:26 AM
My biggest fear is that a judge will rule that my stbx and I will still be financially intertwined after divorce? How likely is this?AVOID THE BOOZE | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/23 09:02 PM
I'm drowning today. I can't handle this. It hurts so bad.That’s not the way. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/23 09:50 PM
To divorced men with no kids: Would you move to a completely new city to finally heal from a tough breakup (that you didn’t want)?I considered it. I got lucky in that she moved away, but still considered it because so many places had memories of her attached to them. I still don’t know if it was the right decision to stay, but I mostly did because of my family living near to me and my career. So I really have no advice, but I just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/03/23 05:39 PM
