I can confirm. My wife and I are both Nigerian, and she spent the first 20 years of her life there. Traditional culture and strong family can overcome American influence.

Lol. Unfortunately it's been watered down and bastardized for clicks and views on YouTube
/r/TheRedPill09/02/23 09:12 PM

Here you are on "The red pill" subreddit saying the matrix doesn't exist. Literally the whole movement was founded on the metaphor of the matrix. Lol dude
/r/TheRedPill09/02/23 08:43 PM
1

True. But you're talking about the OG red pill. All the crap on social media skews towards the negative stuff and the anger phase red meat, since it gets clicks and views. I definitely agree with you though. I'm just glad I got red pilled pre RP YouTube. I think material like this is best digested and discussed in written form.

Take what you need, and leave the rest. This is probably one of the better posts I've seen in here in the past year or so. Not sure who the mods are anymore, but I think this is worth a sticky or potentially sidebar material.

I think I get his point. I think the increase in blackpill ideology has correlated with the decrease of religion in society. Without religion or some type of belief system, it's very easy to fall into nihilism, especially when learning information like this that can be shocking and disappointing when you are first exposed. It's not inherently dangerous. Like the OGs said, the RP is a toolbox. What you do with it is up to you.
/r/TheRedPill09/02/23 02:58 AM

Yes. You internalized the principles, you didn't just memorize a bunch of stuff. Inner game vs outer game. I think I get what you're saying
/r/TheRedPill09/02/23 02:55 AM

This is super important. Doesn't get talked about enough. Also kudos to you for reaching the final stages and coming back to help. I also did the same. I got RP'd back in 2014 or so. By early 2017, I had leveled up, learned all I needed, and no longer needed the RP. By the end of 2017, I started dating my now wife. Everything I learned here many years ago has been really helpful, especially with a more balanced and less cynical perspective like you mentioned. I've been with my wife almost 5 year…

I would actually argue that "holding frame" and "having frame" are two different things. If you have a strong frame, you don't have to "hold" it. It holds itself. You only have to hold something up if it's weak. The difference is in the level of effort. When you have frame, it's second nature. If you're only "holding" frame, you're still faking it.

A lot of autistic dudes out here that clearly never read the sidebar. As a veteran of this sub since 2014 or so, it's very frustrating to see noobs not read the basic stuff, and misinterpret foundational concepts like frame.

I've come to the conclusion that almost all feminists subconsciously have a MASSIVE case of penis envy. For those not familiar with psychology, essentially this is a woman wishing that she was a man.

Read The Willpower Instinct by Kelly McGonigal. Great book about willpower, discipline, how to not sabotage your own goals. If you're not sure if you should read it, Google the "what the hell" effect, and see if that's affecting your life. I read it some years ago and it was a big game changer for keeping on track with my habits

Well said. Been married 3 plus years and this is 100% facts

RP youtube overall is terrible. I admit I got sucked into it for a while as "entertainment", but eventually I realized it's just red meat designed to get attention and clicks. The "real" RP is on all the blogs, and old posts here and on TRP. Everything has been watered down, I agree. Also, I'm a guy, but I'm not sure they talk about this on TRP

Less than 5 is ideal, and less than 3 is great. So you want a girl with a history of long LTRs that never cheated pretty much
/r/TheRedPill11/02/22 10:26 AM
20

Really there’s not much to consider at all. Girl A was loyal to her boyfriend and showed commitment. Girl B is most likely not LTR material, definitely not wife material. Her biggest skill is riding the carousel. Girl B can’t keep a man and is much more likely to cheat on you. End of Siri

I'm a guy, but this is a pretty good list. Most of the guys with these characteristics will soon be making 6 figures if they're not already. Definitely critical to focus on internal qualities
/r/RedPillWomen23/12/21 06:53 PM

Have you read Mode One or are you just naturally this way? The book talks about being sexually bold with women the way you described. Really fascinating
/r/TheRedPill22/12/21 12:37 PM

Awesome story bro. Same way I quit weed cold turkey 2.5 years ago. Habits don’t get talked about enough! And Atomic habits is an amazing book
/r/TheRedPill12/12/21 12:45 AM

Thanks for the response. Hmmm, if I had to guess, maybe your mom being a stay at home mom really helped. My wife just started working again but she works from home. Hopefully will be financially independent with our business ventures soon, so then she can stay at home with the kids. Yeah my kids are going to read a lot, probably fiction just to get them into the habit at first. No TVs in their room, and no iPads or cell phones until they’re at least 12.
/r/TheRedPill25/10/21 01:43 PM
2

Damn dude, you’re on this at 16?? I got to this level at 25 and it still felt like I was way ahead of my peers. You’ve read a lot of books, sounds like Atomic habits. Anything unique about your parents or how you were raised? I just had a son a month ago and I definitely want him to be on this level at age 16 lol

Yes, this is what the true Red Pill is about. And you're right, too many people have made it about women.

Some idiot literally just posted that they did exactly that. LMAO. A lot of autists in here So yes, this is necessary
/r/TheRedPill03/10/21 04:34 PM

Very true, majority of the stuff here on TRP (especially recently) is for lifelong bachelors/MGTOWs, not guys that want LTRs/Marriage. Always consider the source, gentlemen
/r/TheRedPill03/10/21 04:33 PM

great post. really unfortunate that a lot of autists are missing the point of your post, going on tangents about the military or politics or whatever. The point is develop your self discipline. It could be in the gym, it could be martial arts, it could be the military, but you need SOME type of training ground to develop your discipline. Without self discipline, you will never reach your potential. I've actually lost a few friends because while they were dicking around in their early/mid 20's, I…

yeah it's definitely a strawman. Not relevant to the topic of your post at all. Whether or not it's true is irrelevant. Really he should just make a separate thread.
/r/TheRedPill03/10/21 04:25 PM

you missed the entire point of his post. It's not about the military at all. It was clearly an example lol. I hate when people get political about something that is clearly not political. this was clearly a beginner's guide for those struggling with discipline

Good post but there are a lot of other high paying careers. Like healthcare. Or engineering. Our project/product management. Overall good post, especially the meditation. Age of marriage matters less than maturity and financial stability, it’s just that many guys don’t have enough of either until age 35. Oh and don’t marry a western woman. Period. Find a woman with some type of culture that still believes in traditional values. My wife is super traditional (cooking, cleaning, etc), and it works …

Stillness is the Key is by the same author Ryan Holiday, and it's pretty good, so I would recommend that. I don't know of many other books that are practical philosophy in the same way that The Obstacle is the Way is, however. If you want something from the spiritual/zen side, I highly recommend Eckhart Tolle. I would start with The Power of Now, and then read A New Earth after that. I would highly recommend reading his books early in the morning when you're fresh or it may go over your head hah…

This is fantastic. Rollo, or someone else, posted on IG about Red Pill Betas the other day. This is a perfect breakdown of the differences. It's all about mindset. A beta complains about hypergamy and makes excuses, an alpha uses it as an opportunity to improve himself and be better
/r/TheRedPill17/08/21 12:54 PM
6

But this does assume that you're either a virgin or have a very low n-count (less than 3). If every other guy has gotten the goods for free, then yeah holding out ain't gonna work for you lol. No such thing as a born-again virgin haha
/r/RedPillWomen17/08/21 12:34 PM

you'll never lose a **marriage-minded** man by making him wait for sex with you IF he is planning to marry you. Of course, this assumes that you are bringing enough other things to the table, like showing him you can cook, clean, take care of the house, being nurturing, and just generally showing him that you will make a good mother. The problem is that most women today DON'T bring much to the table outside of sex, so without it, they can't keep a man. If you follow the best advice on this sub y…

Definitely agree man. A lot of these small dick dudes that can't hit it right have this mindset. When you're totally dicking down a chick, it's a totally different game. That's how you get her obsessed. And LOTs of women can come from PIV, a lot of guys just don't have the right tools or just aren't dominant or strong enough. Hit the gym, do some heavy ass squats and deadlifts, learn about the G spot, and you'll be golden.

Tongkat ali is also amazing for erections, libido, etc. There's also evidence it increases testosterone.

yeah the quality of the posts here has gone WAYYY down lol. I blame gen Z. OP is probably early 20's without much life experience

meditate. consistently for several months. constantly improve yourself to the point where you actually DO have better shit to do than talk to a boring chick.
/r/TheRedPill01/07/21 12:20 PM
1

great post. I would add that as a man, you should always be pursuing your mission and life purpose, and that is always infinitely more important and interesting than a boring/wack girl who's not feeling you. So yeah, in your mind, you should always be thinking "I got an empire to build." A girl really has to prove her value to you in order to take you away from building your empire.

yeah lexapro will do this for sure. it's called anorgasmia I believe

I think Zen and stoicism are definitely compatible, and almost go hand-in-hand. To me, I almost think of stoicism as the "how" and Zen as the "why". Not sure that makes sense haha. While meditation definitely changed my life, reading The Obstacle is the Way (one of the best books on Stoicism) shifted my whole perspective and helped me get through one of the hardest parts of my life. I would recommend people get into Zen and meditation, and then approach Stoicism from there.

great post actually. I love that you mentioned Californication, probably it's one of the most red pill shows of all time. Hank Moody is a straight up master class in frame and general alpha mindset. You also made some great points about trust, integrity, and submission. Doesn't get talked enough on here. In fact, most posts here aren't about LTRs and the process to vet a woman for an LTR.

talk about your values and your goals. make sure you guys are on the same page. find a man with integrity. if he doesn't have this, you really have nothing discuss gender roles at length. you want to make sure you're on the same page, again

/r/RedPillWomen02/04/21 07:00 AM

Yup. Just pretend she’s your annoying little cousin. “Aww that’s cute” is an appropriate reaction to most of these situations
/r/MarriedRedPill30/03/21 02:24 AM

Not really. Not from my perspective. Maintain your frame, establish boundaries, and make sure there are consequences for her actions (or inactions). Eventually she will learn. Coincidentally, this is also what you do with children 🤷🏽‍♂️ Hence the analogy
/r/MarriedRedPill27/03/21 02:12 AM

I think the problem here is that you want her to be your equal. Yes, I think this is still a blue pill stronghold in you. Men and women are not the same. Women are pretty much just larger children honestly. I'm sure you've read this article before The Most Responsible Teenager in the House From the article: Men Love Women, Women Love Children, and Children Love Puppies There is an “order” to how love works and the order works only in one direction. You can see hints to this in the Bible, where h…

Income is important, let's not kid ourselves. Job title, ehh. Might matter to some, but really doesn't matter in the long run.

This is great stuff. As a married RP veteran, this is very solid. As a HVM, you also made some good points. one point though, regarding this example: " "You rarely get dinner ready at 6pm. You're a bad wife. This doesn't add value to my life. Fix it, and figure out why you aren't capable of doing this" (or else she'll naturally be dreaded)." ^^I think the main problem here (esp if you're a high value man) is the criticism. Like you mentioned, and as David Deida states so poignantly in The Way of…

A lot. The problem is cohabitation, not giving wife benefits to the RIGHT man.
/r/RedPillWomen26/03/21 12:46 PM
1

Nothing wrong with this approach. If you see him as husband material, then you want to make sure he sees you as wife material. One question though. Do you guys live together? I don’t really recommend living together, and that would also throw off the dynamic that you want to set.
/r/RedPillWomen26/03/21 12:45 PM

Habits are the key to a successful life. Highly recommend The Power of Habit or Atomic Habits. If you’re really hardcore, read both. Understanding habits changed my life.

I LITERALLY chose my wife with this as a major reason. She can cook amazingly well. When I came to visit her for the first time, she cooked me a great meal without me even asking. I later found out she previously went to culinary school, even though she's a nurse now. Lucky me haha! I was also able to indirectly get her to start going to the gym, so now we're golden

DUDE. Literally your mom is the first woman you have to be able to say no to. I tell my mom no all the time now, and in a way I've realized I'm more mature than her now haha. For reference, I'm 30 now and I was 24/25 when I found TRP

2015 was like PEAK TRP. Soo many gems at that point, it was when I started reading The Rational Male and The Book of Pook, etc. Funny enough I'm married now (I met my wife post-TRP), and I would definitely not be ready in the same way that I am now if not for TRP

I agree actually. Or, she just wasn't the right girl. My wife eventually started lifting and eating healthier after seeing my example. I never really had to force her to get in the gym, she just realized that she would have to keep up with my lifestyle if she wanted our marriage to be successful.

wow this is good stuff. I was pretty deep in TRP many years ago. Didn't get on there for several years, but internalized most of the major lessons. Now I've been married a little over a year, so I'm here instead of TRP haha. This is an excellent post. Lots of wisdom here. much better quality than express. they're based in London, which is probably why you never heard of them. I hadn't either until my brother told me. check out their website, you can see what kind of stuff they have
