I like what you said about appreciating what he does. That's another huge thing that I always try to do is say "thank you" in a genuine way. Even for little things like taking out the trash, bringing me something, fixing something around the house, paying a bill, etc.

My hubby works from home and I work in an office so some things I like to do to make sure he is taken care of throughout the day are: Wake up early and make him breakfast Make sure the kitchen and house are clean when I leave Fill the water pitcher so he can make tea throughout the day Prep him a snack or some fruit and put it on his desk for when he becomes hungry mid-day If I wake up earlier and go to the gym, I put frozen fruit and juice in the blender to thaw so he can just blend it and make…

I always make sure to give him a hug and kiss whenever we greet each other, no matter who is coming home. Make sure the house is spotless and have dinner ready and on the table if he's hungry when he gets home. If he needs some veg time, then just greet him and let him be and go do something for yourself until he's ready to interact. When we lived in an apartment, I would go on the balcony and wave to him as he was walking up to the building. Or jump up and down and smile and show how excited I …

That's a great idea! I sometimes do this with my hubby's robe or PJs after he showers.

I don't have a lot of experience with this and also had a fluke of randomly meeting my guy online too. But if I had to do it over, I would do these things: Post recent, tasteful pictures that show off my feminine side, including full-body photos to show I have a good figure Make my profile all about what I offer to my future husband and be very clear that I'm looking for a serious and traditional relationship Take the relationship off-line as soon as possible in a safe way. Meet up for coffee in…

I agree. This post raised a lot of red flags as I was reading. He honestly sounds kind of bi-polar. Hope you can figure this out but, based on what's written, it's hard to say what the best solution is.

There are tons of great ideas for side hustles in this thread. However, I'd say before going to all the work to earn money to buy your family Christmas presents, why don't you discuss this with your husband? Maybe he really doesn't care if you spend money on your family. Also there are plenty of things you can do for him that don't cost a lot. It might be more important to him to have you at home and fully focused there instead of distracted trying to earn a bit of money. Hope that might save yo…

One thing I noticed is that you said you are out the door when a man defers to you or questions what he should or shouldn't do. I don't know the context, but is it possible they are just trying to be polite and include you? You can give an opinion, but that doesn't mean he will do whatever you say. Also, if even minor failures are a turn-off, then I'd suggest looking at that, because no man, however masculine, is perfect all the time. Being there for your man when he runs into challenges is part…

For me the relationship between husband and wife is the foundation of the family. They must each take care of their own needs so they can show up for the other. They put their relationship and harmony above everything because it affects their children and their family life.

Lol at the first one. And in reality, the second one probably won't be having children so I doubt she'll (?) be anyone's "grandperson."

To address the question of calming the negative thoughts, I would recommend meditating. Take some deep breaths, watch these thoughts, see how it's just insecurity and fear inside rising up. If you are taking action toward changing (e.g. eating healthier and exercising), then you are doing all that you can. It will take time. In the meantime, while you wait for the results of your actions, know that these thoughts are not productive. They will not advance you toward your goals and will just drag …

Well I am married now so yes, things are good for me. Before I met my husband I had a few wonderful relationships and never had a negative encounter with men. However, I didn’t discover RPW until this year.

Well I'd say men in that age range if they are single they aren't looking to settle down, or if they are divorced, they were recently burnt and just want to have fun for a while. I think it's definitely possible to find guys in that age range as well as younger who are mature and masculine. You just have to change where you are looking and there are probably posts on this or info in the sidebar about where to meet men. As far as femininity, looking and dressing feminine is absolutely essential a…

Well, first of all, you have to make yourself into a high value person that they will want to be in a relationship with. You hint at your past issues, so work on those. You also mention that you are "willing to learn to cook for him." Why don't you already know how to cook? Start working on developing your femininity and feminine skills that will make you a valuable girlfriend. And learn how to vet and change where you are looking for men. You didn't mention the exact age range of "older" men or…

Respect his schedule because it's very important to him Make him breakfast in the morning Pack his lunch and help him get ready and out the door to work Cook for him, including his favorite meals, special desserts, and breakfast on the weekend Run to greet him when he gets home from work with a big smile, hug, and kiss Make him drinks when we're home, make sure they are re-filled, etc. Do little things he doesn't like to do, like cutting apples up or peeling oranges Organize and put away all his…

Basically that very few people in general really have a career vs. a job and even fewer have a really successful career. Then he speaks about successful career women (e.g. lawyers) who it 30s and realize family is important and want to have kids. He also spoke about how people are afraid of having children and you shouldn't fear children if you are the adult and are in control of your family/household and don't let the kids run the show. And that kids are wonderful if you know how to raise/paren…

Aww, thanks for sharing this. I love both of them so much!! She is such a role model for me and I want to be more like her. She is gorgeous, feminine, classy, and elegant. Things I noticed in the interview: He said they've never argued or fought and are very compatible. This is me and my husband as well. We can discuss anything but never fight or scream at each other or are mean to one another even if we disagree. She is traditional and took his name. She also said she wasn't nervous at the wedd…

Yes, that does sound pretty harsh. I think you could have addressed the core issue which is that he likes having you close and worries about you when he wakes up and you're not there. Your husband wanting you in bed with him is a good "problem" to have. Since you say this is a recurring problem, have you considered talking with him about it when you both are calm and coming up with a solution? If you have insomnia, would it be okay to stay in the bed and read with a low light on or back-lit e-re…

I just read your post and can sense the stress in your writing so I wanted to respond. First of all, you are only responsible for yourself. It seems like you are struggling with various things internally that only you can resolve. You might need external help to work through them but at the end of the day they are your issues and that should be your focus. It’s so easy to blame someone else or think if they acted differently then things would be fine, but in my experience that isn’t the case. If…

Aww, that's so cute! That's how my husband and I are, been together for 5+ years and still obsessed with each other, constantly touching, kissing, snuggling, grabbing each other. We just like each other! It's a beautiful thing! :)

Yes, for sure I think my husband is my best friend. We didn't start off as friends but as our relationship grew, we became friends with each other and became so comfortable with each other and accept each other completely. We do crazy things around one another but don't feel embarrassed or judge each other. Also, when I think of a friend, it's a person I can be myself with, flaws and all, as well as the first person you want to tell things too. And my hubby is definitely that. I tell him everyth…

I'm currently doing the Strong Lifts program by Bret Contreras. Before that I did 5x5 Strong Lifts. I love lifting weights because it makes you strong and gives you a toned and curvaceous figure. Other than that, diet is key and I eat a very clean and healthy diet. I also am active outdoors a lot with hiking and walking. Those are my staples but sometimes I mix in a little yoga or other interesting classes that I encounter.

My hubby and I don't have kids yet but I've thought a lot about this. I don't see why he shouldn't be in the room to experience it and I think his masculine energy and groundedness would be very helpful during a time like that. I also think it's important for the child to have both parents there when they are born so they can bond and speak to the child. That being said, a part of me doesn't want him to see me less than put together, especially not bleeding and messy like that. So I think I'd ju…
