3	A big Yike from r/confessions False comparison. The doctor benefits from this either way, and you pay him. In this instance, the artist pays the models. So, if someone wants to hire me to do a job because it secretly turns him on, I wouldn't care. I'd happily take the money. Also, let's not infantilize people. 3	Mansplaining I think mansplaining defined as "a man explaining something to a woman that he wouldn't explain to a man in the same situation" is a legit thing. I've seen men do this. Women do it too, in female-oriented spaces (for example, I've often been talked down to in my make-up classes simply because I was a man), but not as often, mostly because that's not how women engage men.
