I just came here myself and have been immersed in this as much as I can. I think the senior men on here would tell you this is not about bettering your marriage but about becoming a better man. Over on the side bar you will see the link MRP Guide for Beginners. Start there. There are three course prerequisites on that link, read them and everything else you can. Keep in mind this is a huge hole we have to dig ourselves out of and it takes time.

I am right there with you buddy.Can you be worse than beta? That was me. In my early 50s. First marriage imploded, second marriage was close until about a month ago when I hit dread level 10 (before even knowing what it was). Found this sub last week. Wife has responded more than I thought but going slow. I am a believer and now reading everything I can.
