Positive masculinity would be so much better if it was actually focus on men."But it seems like most people can't understand that for some reason"... It's almost as if these people (women) want to have their cake and eat it too? I don't have a lot of faith in the abolition of gender roles if half the population only supports it when it is in their own favor... | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/12/23 03:03 AM
I have seen a lot of "Feminists" sharing this article recently, supposedly proving that gender differences in spatial reasoning are the result of so called "socialization", therefore the gender disparity in STEM fields is the result of "Sexism". Any counterpoint disproving this argument?I wasn't aware of concrete proof that it's biology and not culture - just indicative evidence? This isn't surprising because it's almost impossible to separate the two... | /r/MensRights | 19/10/23 04:43 PM
I am still trying to figure out what "emotional labor" means. When I've seen the term emotional labor used on reddit, it's usually referring to the woman in a relationship feeling a bunch of emotions when the man isn't. Example: my girlfriends are coming over this weekend but our apartment is messy. I am really stressed about this, but my bf doesn't care and just sits and plays video games. I'm doing all the emotional labor in this household because he is not as worried as me! In reality, this isn't emotional labor, this is just self-entitled neuroticism. … | /r/MensRights | 15/08/23 05:12 PM
Wife threatens to take away child in every argumentIf you're a foreigner married to a local in China, I don't think lawyering up will help. This is not nice to say, but you should get emotionally prepared for a high likelihood of divorce and zero custody. If you desperately want to save your marriage, which I wouldn't advise, you need to get a job ASAP. Her parents will have to take over the childcaring but this is expected in Chinese culture. Invest your energy into making money and do not share it with her except for a reasonable contribution … | /r/MensRights | 20/07/23 04:31 PM

Just watched the end part of a rather revolting movie, "Promising Young Woman". Frankly I found it anti-male.I agree with your point, although I saw it a bit differently. The film is told from a female perspective (and there are probably lots of women out there who see the world similar to her). Her obsession in the film is portrayed as pathological and self damaging, so to me I didn't think the film was necessarily endorsing her views. She is vindicated in the end, but it wasn't portrayed as glamorous or heroic. | /r/MensRights | 30/12/22 09:15 PM
