looking to do a poll on redditWhiners always find something to whine about. It’ll be something else tomorrow if it even takes that long…. You know…… like feminists. | /r/MensRights | 02/10/22 12:46 AM
looking to do a poll on redditI guess you missed it that I said that in current circumstances it should be same crime same time. You are going to believe what you want to, as am I. You are definitely coming off to me with a decidedly “from my parents basement because I’m confrontational and don’t function normally” kind of vibe. Opinions are like assholes and so are assholes. People like you are why it’s so easy to nominalize the issues discussed in this sub. There’s no reason with people who won’t be reasonable. You can kee… | /r/MensRights | 01/10/22 04:16 PM
looking to do a poll on redditYou’re one of those who just like to argue eh? It doesn’t need to be fair to the childless criminal. It’s the hypothetical child that is innocent and would suffer. Few things are more useless wastes of energy than debating hypothetical issues with questionable strangers on the internet about things that are not even going to happen anytime soon or never. You win. Bye now. | /r/MensRights | 01/10/22 03:19 PM
looking to do a poll on redditYes. In some other countries it’s taken into consideration if other people, mostly children, will be significantly negatively impacted by their absence and support. Men can be caretakers too but more often women are. I think it should be considered on a case by case basis except in especially heinous crimes. Again I’m speaking in a hypothetical because our corrections system is not about rehabilitation, it’s about punishment. I don’t think this point is worth arguing about details as it’s not a … | /r/MensRights | 01/10/22 01:45 PM
looking to do a poll on redditSuch as the one I mentioned. It would also apply to men in a hypothetical situation. Also whether or not incarceration is effective in preventing further offenses. | /r/MensRights | 01/10/22 01:44 AM
looking to do a poll on redditIf in the USA the corrections system were about actual rehabilitation and not just about punishment I would say that nuance could be considered as to prevent recidivism. However it’s not so I think it should be same crime same time. However, I don’t believe that young children should be without their parents and there are measurable consequences for that. I believe that there should be programs for children to spend significant time in facilities that don’t look like American prisons. Canada and… | /r/MensRights | 30/09/22 11:24 PM
Alternatives to child supportSingle father with split custody here. I also pay a little child support too. This guy sounds suspicious to me. Don’t drop the case. Probably wrong subreddit also but….while we’re here I will weigh in. He doesn’t want to pay. If he wants partial custody he can have it if he can provide a decent environment for the child, especially if you agree to it and it sounds like you do. He would also have to pay less if so but as you know caring for a child isn’t that easy. It doesn’t sound like you are j… | /r/MensRights | 30/09/22 12:30 AM
Mom gives her son eviction papers for his 18th birthday present. Posts it online.I agree with the sentiment of what is being said here in this thread but in fairness I have seen teenagers that were so toxic and beyond reason that this is warranted. Kid in the video didn’t look surprised or devastated either. I have heard it said that god makes teenagers assholes so parents won’t be devastated when they leave. For me and my 2 siblings the rule was upon graduation we either move out, pay rent, or join full time religious fanaticism ministry. (JW’s). I moved out on my 18th birt… | /r/MensRights | 11/09/22 01:50 AM
I'm sick and tired of just being a sex object for women.Yeah me too. Reading this I saw a little bit of my younger self. A young man on the cusp of actual adulthood (for me I was 26 when I became an actual adult) who is reflecting with disdain on how his life didn’t align with how he thought it would and still lacking a fully developed sense of accountability. This was the point that I was humbled and then motivated to do better. Perhaps also not fully self aware as the view of that these things were things that happened to him instead of things that… | /r/MensRights | 10/09/22 04:53 AM
Is he the asshole? The general consensus on antiwork is that there’s no lawsuit here. No protected class and character issues are a fair criteria when determining leadership roles. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 19/08/22 10:56 PM
I told an HR administrator to stop saying that I (and male coworkers) belong to the Patriarchy. In fact I told her if she says it about me again I would sue.I gotta say that it used to be that women were favored in custody cases, but it really isn’t true anymore. Speaking of custody, not divorce. I live in a VERY conservative state and the default is now 50/50 and if you refuse to agree to any less than that, the court has a default 50/50 and you are likely to get that provided there are no “fitness” issues. Recent studies show children do best with maximizing time with BOTH parents. Most mediators also push for this if you are asking and able. I ma… | /r/MensRights | 30/06/22 03:02 AM
Gefer women now have to pay 20% less entry into public placesI agree. If mens rights is to be taken seriously it should be about actual equality. That statement was just straight up sexist. That’s the kind of thing that adds fuel to the argument that this community is toxic. Certainly not the first time I have seen this and we need to call out when we see it. I have known several excellent women leaders. I’m a carpenter/cabinetmaker and my woodworking mentor is a woman. | /r/MensRights | 29/06/22 10:10 PM
| -1 | VasectomyI get where you are coming from with the virtue signaling but I assume you did catch the headlines today. It’s not your body your choice anymore. I live in a state that millions of women will not have that choice anymore. I’m a man’s man but I just don’t get how this many men can sit here going “but…but…but…”. This is not good for men either. This is a dark day and a slippery slope. Let’s have the balls to simply stand up for what is right and wrong regardless of how our individual experience co… | /r/MensRights | 25/06/22 02:44 AM |
| -10 | VasectomyIt’s really not. Nobody voted for anyone on the Supreme Court. One single president, who wasn’t even trying to hide his agenda, got to pick 1/3 of the court. That shouldn’t happen. I hope Biden packs the Supreme Court and then announces that he won’t seek re-election. It won’t reverse today but falling on the knife is the only way to restore balance and faith in the institution. | /r/MensRights | 25/06/22 02:26 AM |
Charges dropped for shop liftingNot only shoplifting but assault too? There has to be a reason the charges were dropped and expunged that isn’t apparent here. Maybe she gave up a drug dealer or something. Maybe she is a police informant. Anyway about it if it were the man that was being accused those charges would have been enforced. | /r/PussyPass | 31/05/22 12:10 PM
