You're just making my point for me. The media didn't care about it back then, but now with all these movements and people starting to care more about these atrocities, it's getting more attention. R. Kelly was known for his sex tape and peeing on young girls years ago. But now in 2018/2019, it's coming to the forefront of everyone's attention. People just didn't care as much back then as they do today.
