A mother's love for their child, perhaps the most potent real life example someone may cite as "unconditional love" is actually the opposite: it's hyperconditional. That intense, eternal type of love is directly anchored to the condition of being that mother's child. You're absolutely correct, "unconditional love" is a rampantly unaddressed societal fallacy. The only being capable of loving unconditionally, would reside in the realm of a God.

Not all men. But a large, overwhelming majority of men. But I feel like you say "all men are like this" in a doom-inducing, hopeless manner. All I'm saying is that a man's imagination is VERY OFTEN sexual and it's simply an inevitability that the energy or likeness of a girl-who's-his-friend gets jumbled up in a fleeting sexual fantasy or 2 or 3. Because these fantasies occur frequently in the brain of a man.

I did invade a women's space, I acknowledge that. My hypothesis (i was wrong to call it a theory) is largely based on anecdotal evidence and personal experience. Its unscientific and cannot be counted for anything more than my own personal perspective. I didn't intend to ruffle feathers or stoke anxiety. However, if my hypothesis was tested with the correct controls and variables in place, intuition tells me it wouldn't be too far removed from the truth. I'm also not saying all men are sexually …

I never ever post in this sub but I'm gonna break my rule because I have just recently contemplated this question. If a straight man is friends with a woman, it's almost a guarantee that at least once, even if just for a few fleeting moments, he has envisioned himself being sexually involved with this girl-who's-his-friend. You can think this is piggish or shallow or disgusting, what have you, but I'm pretty sure it's damn close to the truth. I can give you a personal example of a saving grace t…

Doesn't this align with MGTOW theory? In this example, men are "more interested in things" and engineer solutions to directly deal with the problem. Women are "more interested in people" and appeal strongly to emotion in order to garner awareness and push the problem to the front of the media narrative. Why can't both strategies be used in tandem, with men and women each leveraging their core competencies toward the same result?
