10	Here is what my hijab (headscarf) taught me about male entitlement, the male gaze, and the conditionality of men's treatment of women I think this is an interesting discussion. I visited a very Muslim region last year and felt so inconspicuous without a head covering that I wore one, both as a way to blend in and be respectful (slightly dangerous area too for travellers).
