If the male contributor you're talking about is Whisper, then I know exactly what it is you're quoting. The problem is that you're picking out only parts you want to hear and dismissing the rest. Allow me to quote something else from him: Women who advise you to immediately next any man who doesn't chase you are women who probably don't date very attractive men.

You look desperate to other women. Not men. We think the exact opposite of what you women are constantly telling one another. Sometimes it seems like women are constantly giving other women bad advice just to sabotage them. Now, you might not get the answer you want if you ask, but you will get an answer. Weigh that value against the countless number of lonely women out there playing the same old games and never getting anywhere with it.

Stop listening to the repeated bad advice on here that involves manipulation and baiting in the hopes of a man asking you out. Ask them out. Directly. We do not respect manipulation and games. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree here. I feel this is a line of delusional thinking that eventually leads one down an inevitable path where they deduce that they should love themselves, regardless of their weight, and then eventually decide to remain fat, or worse, convince themselves that being fat is actually a good thing and attempting to be fit is entirely the result of some kind of unfair societal pressure. Losing weight and keeping it off is absolutely a matter of self control and I don't…

As long as you accept that fantasy as a complete fantasy and do not pursue that non-existent, picture-perfect man like a hound in real life, because that's the beginning of the end right there. And then one day you wake up years later and realize that the right man did come along but you chased him away because he was not the Superman you wanted in your head. Just be who you would be without a million dollars.

Being a millionaire probably won't complicate things unless you make it complicated. What generally happens is that successful, wealthy women tend to demand potential suitors to be perfect unicorns. Don't let your wealth and success raise your standard for men to a now impossible level that no man can fit. There's a ton of 40+ year old, highly wealthy, successful women out there that are all alone because no man is ever smart enough, educated enough, attractive enough, or wealthy enough for thei…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
