Scariest part of a situation like that is the fear she'll retaliate about the rejection. You're right. It doesn't directly address marriage. But the fact that 80% of 30+ women who've never had an extra-marital partner are sexually active while only 20% of former sluts are allows you to make some dubious inferences regarding marriage. Presumably those 30+ former sluts would enjoy still having sex, but no longer can. Also, presumably far more than 20% want marriage. Edit: there's obviously nothing morally wrong with being a slut. However it sends up red flags about emotional intimacy …
