You're dead wrong mate. Please see my reply above. Guys like you are perpetuating a stereotype that's so different from the boots-on-the-ground reality. Please live here for awhile, learn the culture, learn about the girls here, before spouting off opinions founded on ignorance.

15 year expat here in the Philippines. Sorry but you're incorrect. So tired of hearing the same old gold digger trope time & time again, typically from men who have never even lived here. Women here are loving, caring, and support the man in their life. The very small minority of gold diggers has truly created a nearly insurmountable image problem exacerbated by men who likely don't even own a passport.

Enjoyed all of these posts. Great advice. Not a fan of the unnecessary swearing and low class words. Just present the information professionally. Otherwise, good stuff. Thanks for taking the time.

People online are lying about their income. Most are deep in debt. Find your passion, then monetize it. That's it.

Actually, my slanderous friend, I didn't say "much younger than me," I said "16 years" -- as in 49 and 33. Lovely how you twist my words to imply an illegal relationship. What a standup gentleman you are. The rest of your reply is fantastic proof that the green eyes of envy shine brightest in those timid parochial souls who fear to venture beyond their backyard fence. Enjoy your bubble, your warped sensibilities, and your pool of high-quality Western girls, lol.

Expat here in Philippines, been here for a long time. With a great girl, 16 years my junior, sex any time I want it, no stress, and able to earn & save a lot. Best of all worlds. Only comment is that much of the criticism around women are applicable to Western women. Once you leave that environment, females from different cultures are vastly different. Generally, more joyful, innocent, submissive, feminine, and devoted. Reality is that Americans, in particular, don't travel much and are largely …

MGTOW doesn't necessarily mean becoming a Cistercian Monk. Buy condoms. Have a lot of sex. Don't fall in love. Explore and have fun. Religious fervor will ebb with age, at which point you'll regret not enjoying your 20s. This is the time of your life when you have the stamina and libido of a stallion. Don't squander it and have regrets in your later years. Best of luck.

Good post, enjoyed reading it. Just be careful, you're dealing with a female here.. driven by emotion, not logic. Things can turn sour in unexpected ways. Best strategic decision is to take a hands off approach because there's no true benefit other than revenge, which is fleeting.

Yes there are about 200,000 expats residing here. Malaysia likely offers the best value in terms of cost and modernity. As with most cities in Asia, the infrastructure is more advanced than the US. Malaysia provides an environment that is quite diverse with low crime.

Live in Malaysia. Monthly costs depend entirely on lifestyle.

"The economy depends on simping"? Mate, you're really over analyzing everything. You're spending so much energy being concerned about what others think and intellectualizing a natural process. If you need to cum, then cum. If you don't want to, then don't do it. It really is as simple as that. Use your cognitive skills to make money and improve yourself.

I turn 50 next year. Best decisions of my life were: Becoming an expat in a low cost of living country and leaving the asylum that is the US; and, Starting my career in IT, which gave me the freedom to work remotely from any global location. This combination of earning in EUR, USD, AUD, GBP and spending in the local currency is called geoarbitrage. It has enabled me to make faster financial progress and plan for an early retirement. It put me in control of my own time and provides a high degree …

Believe me, it will help. Most girls need some guidance in life, especially from someone who has seen the world a bit. Women need a man they respect, admire, love, and depend on. Can't find that with a boy.

Fun social experiment: Try posting on a female-centric forum with, "A real woman does this..." and see the reaction. Modern men have become brainwashed from 40+ years of feminism.

Expat for 16 yrs, live in SE Asia. Women are feminine and more traditional, expect you to run the show. Great life, lots to do, low cost of living, and better culture than the West. Good region for independent MGTOW men to follow their purpose and be free without others looking over their shoulders all the time. Can live the city urban life, beach life, rural life.. whatever suits you. Setup a remote job first where you're getting paid in USD, EUR, GBP, or AUD. You can live like a king if you ar…

Your words "very special moment to her" really sum up the whole issue. Shouldn't it be a special moment for THEM as a new couple? Or you think the man doesn't count?

You were brought into the world by the choices of other people. Ideally, they fulfilled their roles in keeping you alive and preparing you for the world as best they could. Sounds like their part has been played, so the ball is in your court now. They're done. They have no more control. They can advise all they want, but you'll need to make your own decisions. You'll hear a lifetime of advice... theirs are just two of the thousands of well-meaning recommendations you'll be bombarded with over th…

Everyone walks their own path in life and has to live with the consequences, regardless of your remonstrations. He only has to be true to himself and not your definition of what a "good father" is.
