<Sigh> Depending upon the jurisdiction, get her to go to mediation to settle custody and marital assets so the split can be done. If she refuses, like my STBXW, it is going to cost you time and lawyer fees. You will probably come out fine, but much poorer, as the lawyers are in no hurry to expedite anything. You both are lots of billable hours of bullshit (e.g. discovery . . .).

My favorite quote: "Why bother trying to work out what a woman wants, when you can play sports, masturbate or just play video games from the comfort of your bedroom?"

I have given lots of thought to that move. Male lawyer? Female lawyer? One who focuses in family law? My biggest concern is for the kids. She will probably try to pull some shit.

Here is a recent article with "research" data showing girls are better at school than boys. http://www.nationaljournal.com/economy/here-s-100-years-of-proof-that-girls-are-better-students-than-boys-20140501

So true. My wife went on and on about how we are so different, blah, blah, blah. If I did not support her ass (she cannot find a balance in anything) by dealing with everything she cannot (which are most things), her life would be chaos. I stopped looking to her for fulfillment when I realized, as it has been noted, she is the most responsible teenager in the house. I know that I am the anchor for my kids. My son will take TRP, I will not leave him hanging like my father left me. I am trying not…

Focus on what you can control - That would be your reaction to things. That is about it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
