Eh, that's not really healthy for you or your kid.

Oh ok, The comment above said in some states you can sue for overdue child support after turning 18, and then you said when she turns 18 you'll be going after her for that, but I guess we were thinking of different things.

I've been a reader of that newsletter for a while now and I'm embarrassed that I glanced over the article thinking "just another poor guy", "glad it's not me", "maybe there's more to the story". Fact is I've just become so familiar with the oppression that I'm numb to it. Seeing this on the front page reminded me that this has to stop and I urge everyone to follow the newsletter. All the same, being unmarried doesn't make a mother irresponsible any more than it makes the father a jerk. Sometimes getting married just because you're pregnant (woman or man) is the least responsible thing you can do for that child. Not every unwed mother was whoring around having unprotected sex same way not every unwed father is absent from their child's life. There are some jerk dads and jerk moms but the majority of parents I think love their child more then anything. Stereotypes affect u…

It did occur to me, but around here (in VA) school ends this week and Father's Day is this Sunday. Not sure if it's different for other states or even other years depending on when Father's Day falls but in this case I think some show of appreciation should be encouraged.

What does being married have to do with being an involved father? Are you saying a dad only deserves to be recognized on Father's Day if he was/is married to the mother?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
