Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”Dam homie that’s some bad juju right there | /r/MensRights | 08/09/22 08:37 AM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”Wait you do know that it was illegal for any women to vote until 1920 though right? No matter what they were doing? That women couldn’t own a credit card without a husband or fauthers approval until the 1970s. In the 1960s a husband could legally beat his wife with a stick less thick then a thumb in more states then not. The vast overwhelming majority of the feminist movement was and is about moving toward creating basic equality. You could argue that the feminist movement has been an overwhelmi… | /r/MensRights | 06/09/22 01:22 AM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”Well ok so we define feminism as the movement that I’m the last 100 years gave women the right to vote, to whom bank accounts, to attend college, and to have basic legal and near societal equality. I define feminists as the people who were part of this movement and the continued push for womens rights and things like the me too movement. What was th point that I’m missing? | /r/MensRights | 05/09/22 11:25 PM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”Thats very surprising to me because this isnt close to true for my experince or anyone ive talked to | /r/MensRights | 04/09/22 03:30 AM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”Bruh your running in really odd circles. At least in my experience about 50-60% of people are compassionate. The genders have been mostly equal with women being a little nicer on average. I’m a guy btw. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/22 02:58 AM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”This is such a weird take IMO. When I think what’s the effect feminism has on my life it obviously seems like the answer is something like. Feminism is the reason my mom went to college. Or It’s the reason my grandma got to vote. Y’all seeing some hypocrites on the internet and then defining yourself as an Anti-feminist is just so fucking weird to me. | /r/MensRights | 02/09/22 10:13 AM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”Dam you are really talking to the wrong women or somehow pissing off every so,en you meet. | /r/MensRights | 02/09/22 10:07 AM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”While the study does actually say women are more empathetic, men are more willing to accept personal risk on the whole. It is likely that naturally empathetic men are more like to take self sacrificing actions. | /r/MensRights | 02/09/22 10:06 AM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”We do like a spicy unexpected title. | /r/MensRights | 02/09/22 12:16 AM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”I dont really know cus the comments were deleted I just found it odd that the study conclusion is full of lines like “Nonetheless, by the time they are toddlers, females appear more prosocial, recognizing and willing to help/comfort individuals in distress, and sex/gender difference in empathy continue to be consistent through adolescents and into adulthood.” And “Females seem more prone to pro social behavior and therefor empathy then males” But the title was that men are more empathetic. | 2 | Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”Im not trying to take any side but this paper literally did state that women are somewhat more empathetic then men. Idk who wrote the title to this post but its the basic opposite of the study results. The main finding is that men are more selective with there empathy and its generally focused on people they like or consider deserving. The genders seemed to have similar empathy in these cases but women were more empathetic to strangers or unknown individuals. | /r/MensRights | 01/09/22 11:13 PM
Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.”While I dont have any opinion about you being shocked, the actual study says the literal opposite of the title. It showed women were more empathetic towards strangers and that men were more selectively empathetic toward people they liked, considered deserving, or considered deserving of protection. | /r/MensRights | 01/09/22 11:09 PM
