This. As you get older you start to realize there is much much more value in being happy with yourself & being with someone who you love, rather than just random encounters. At the end of your life you'll value the time with your SO far more than your bachelor days.

There are no tricks to confidence. If you want more confidence, be a better man....learn a new language, work out regularly, get an education, etc... This will give you more self-esteem. Also, there is no trick with women. Stop looking at them as trophies, and look at them as people. Be honest with them and yourself, you'll be surprised with the results.

I hear ya man. Honestly, I can't be bothered to put in the effort unless i'm drawn to a girl. That doesn't mean you can't talk to other ladies, but you just don't care if things don't work out. A large part of that is because i'm not interested in hookups anymore, and am looking to actually make connections.

While I hear what you're saying, its also not a mature attitude on relationships. If you're with someone for just the physical aspect then this will be the case, but this idea of "we're wired to spread our seed" doesn't apply when you care about someone. Life isn't that black & white.

OP, I think you are neglecting the detail of how its impossible to approach women at the gym. All your other points are valid, but every woman i've ever met has told me that the gym is a no-zone....which is annoying because I like girls who are as fit as I am

Obviously you want to make things interesting & exciting when you first meet someone, but unfortunately I don't think this applies in trying to win a girl back

Honestly just have fun with it, and don't worry about what people think. Just move with the beat. Even if you aren't great it shows confidence

It's ok to approach women in any context Except the gym, unfortunately.

Perhaps. My issues tend to lie in my high-standards, and my un-relenting feelings for an ex

My problem isn't that i'm afraid, I just can't bring myself to give a shit most of the time

Considering my main focus in life at the moment is on my career and self improvement, I guess you could say I'm playing the long con

Well the problem is pure dialogue is only 25% of a conversation, so when you're speaking to ladies on tinder (or via text) 75% of the experience is being lost. That to me is what makes it so goddamn boring.

Agreed. Though I've had girls agree to meet up with me through it I never have, because it doesn't register the same as taking to someone in person would.

I'm not a fan of Tinder, even though I get alot of matches. The conversations usually go nowhere, and most girls aren't interested in meeting up. I think it's much more fun/rewarding to meet girls in person.

The whole letting her know she could lose you is something not enough guys know, and its something i'm going through right now. A Co-Worker & I have been going back and forth in terms of showing interest for awhile now, but i'm not one to try to hook up or date someone while I work with them, so I haven't been nearly as aggressive as I usually would be. At the same time a friend/co-worker seems to have been trying to make moves towards her at the same time, but I can't tell if she's interested i…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
