Validation is feminine especially in the way it is framed here, and if you are a straight male seeking it in year 2024 then you are playing someone elses game. That is if we are talking strictly in context of what OP is referring to in that men are not innately valued like women. But technically this is already answered. Men can get validation the way they’ve always done it which is to get good at something. You are valued for your ability.

The personality would really have to stink tho. Good looks give a ton of leeway. Massive advantage. Im surprised women argue at all about this given that many women experience people treating them worst as they age. Edit: i believe downvoting is not encouraged here. If one disagrees then provide an arguement

I didn’t consider psychological deterioration as a need. I was thinking more physical deterioration, physical death, like from not drinking water and eating, because that is how it is often framed. But this has me reconsidering…

Not a need but i imagine if all men were to forcibly abstain you will begin to witness psychological damage at a massive scale. I think its really damaging to men self esteem and makes them more callous.
