You are missing the crux of the post. Nobody is saying high rent shouldn't be complained about. The post above was saying that there are a lot of people who have complain about even little things that may or may not be frivolous.

There are enough of the feminazis, as he put it, both in terms of people and cultural sway, that the definition of feminist has shifted enough that, at the very least, feminism and feminazism have significant overlap.

Serious question. Is Apple any better?

Many people who call themselves feminists and claim to be about gender equality are actually about suppressing men

Nonetheless, it is a reason why a person could choose not to support that company, if they so chose.

1) Privacy 2) Recently Google fired and engineer for a private memo about how the company is doing things in the name of equality but not doing so in a good manner. You should Google (or duck duck go or whatever) the memo he got fired over and draw your own conclusions about what sort of company would fire someone for having those views.

Not being in control of your actions due to drugs isn't a legal defense. Get blackout drunk, kill someone, and you can still be charged with manslaughter even if you don't remember the incident.

I agree that we need equal rights for everyone. When asked (which admittedly rarely happens), I usually tell people I'm egalitarian - meaning equality for all.

How many feminists actually believe that? How many are militant anti - men? Is there a reliable source saying one group is vastly bigger than the other? I don't know which one is bigger. I don't have a reliable source. If you can show me that the dictionary definition of equality accurately represent most of the people who brand themselves as feminist, I'll believe it. But my perception is that either the majority, or the loudest/most active/most influential, or some combination thereof, of femi…

Not to detract from your point, but I'd wager a "silly" feminist to you would consider themselves "a real feminist, not the silly kind". Everyone is the hero in their own story.

Whatever happened to that guy like a month ago who did check an id, but it was fake, and the judge still threw the book at him?

There is something called prosecutorial discretion. What it means is that the prosecutor has the final say on which cases they prosecute. They can choose to prosecute or not based on anything they want to. So, they never HAVE to take a case. They generally choose not to try false rape accusations because "it would discourage rape victims from coming forward".

The attitude of the populace has certainly changed, though. Then again, maybe not. I can't tell you how many people I've heard say that due process should be suspended for certain people because "well, we know for sure they did it". Maybe the attitude has always been like this.

The legally correct action to take that case is to call the cops on them if they try to leave and drive while drunk.

Move out. I lived at home last year and it was a tiny ass house with paper thin walls so there was no way I was bringing anyone back. Finished school, got a job, now I have my own place. Living with your parents should not be a permanent thing. If it is, then change it.

No, it wouldn't. I don't have any numbers or anything, but...just do what you want to do with your body hair. If you want to shave it, fine. Do what makes you feel best. Its not that big of a deal, really.

Every woman is different. The women that tend to like guys shaved tend to be the girls who like skinny little guys. If this doesn't sound like you, let it grow out. Many women find it manly.

Maybe that wouldn't hurt you, but there are many people who are not in your boat. I'm sure most people are not in your boat, though I don't have any numbers.

Its posts like this that make me worry I'm missing out by not having a facebook. But, when I did have it, it was a barren wasteland. There haven't been any posts on it for about 2 years. To me, that looked worse than not having one at all.

If you are planning on using this technique, and if you have built up enough attraction, it won't matter what you watch. Having said that, you probably want something with a sex scene (the earlier on the better)

I probably should have elaborated a bit. All I meant to say was in my experience "I'll see her around" turns into "I didn't see her around".

No number close though. It's a small campus so I'm 99% sure I'll see her around Sounds like a mistake to me. You have to let your intent be known.

Ok. Having dated the queen of crazy who I met freshman year of college, I feel qualified to answer this. Dating is okay! Really, it is! But ONLY if you are with a girl who is worth it. College is an exploratory experience. If she prevents you from exploring who you are, don't date her. Just understand this - you are not done changing. Nor is anyone you are going to meet freshman year. Be aware of this - what it means is that it is not likely that you will end up with her forever. This means that…

I wish something like that could work for me, I'm in a tiny ass house and my parents room is right next to mine...the walls are so thin I can hear them snore and/or fart.

They had both already showed interest. It wasn't at the point that it was obvious that they wanted to make out (or maybe it was, but I sucked at reading it), but I knew they were at least somewhat interested. Anyway, I started off with 'this is your lifeline, its long' and then started spewing complete and utter bullshit like 'this is the dog line, you have 2 of them, so you will have 2 dogs'....be creative, just don't say something depressing like 'you will lose a limb'. You can use that to tra…

For many people, it is easier to just stop altogether than to be reasonable about it - you watch porn once, then the next day you figure "I'll do it again tonight, no big deal" and you do that for 5 days in a row and you haven't helped yourself at all.

After having had a beard for a long ass time, you feel younger, and therefore more attractive, when you shave it. Having said that, I agree, grow one if you can. Also, I think everyone should have a mohawk at least once in their life.

I understand where you are coming from - I am not the best at picking up on something being a joke. I mean, I'm not the worst either, but I'm not the best. My solution? Alcohol. Pump a few drinks in me and I can become the life of the party.

I can't stress enough how awesome you feel after a good lift. Maybe not at first, but once you're into it for a few months and finally know what the hell you are doing, and you turn from what was a skinny kid all your life to a guy who can bench your own bodyweight, and then you can bench 200 pounds, then 225, then 250....it is SO rewarding in and of itself.

You are looking at it wrong for 2 reasons - 1) If the date is awkward, its not the worst thing in the world. 2) It is in your power to make it not awkward. You know what is awkward? When guys aren't confident enough to take what is being offered. You were touchy with her already - she wants you, so take her like she wants you to! Don't make her feel awkward about waiting for it - just go for it, and both of you will be happier for it. And as for rejection, and fear of rejection - at certain poin…

What I think you are saying is that you went up to a girl, told her to say hi to your friend, but that friend turned out to be you. If that's what you said, that's....weird. I'm no expert, but I can only see that hurting your cause - it shows you don't have the balls to walk up to her and say hi to her as yourself, you have to do it as another person (your 'friend').

My goal is to find a perfect relationship, one that satisfies both physical and mental A perfect relationship implies a perfect partner, as well as you being perfect yourself. Neither you nor any other human being is perfect, and as such a perfect relationship cannot exist. I'm sure you probably already knew this, making my post just a point on semantics.
