I am curious as to how you think cutting social programs while giving tax cuts to the rich is a good thing, seeing as how almost all of the businesses benefiting from this are not even giving out an extra raise from the money they are saving the republicans think they will.

I have grandparents who are retired and rely on social security and Medicare. I have cousins who want kids. I have family who have relied on the internet to get their businesses noted. I am picking my family. Good for you that you're family are in the 1% and benefit from the tax plan the republicans want, and the stances they take on health care not being a human right, though.

The republicans are more about with or against. The recent shutdown has shown that. Trying to even hold the military hostage to get the dems to agree to cutting health care and increase taxes on the middle class

Brought here illegally by his parents. What, did you expect him to run away from his family and go back to Mexico when he was 10?

So you are okay with people dying of cancer because they cannot afford treatment? What about people who wait for things to get so bad they have to go to the ER, which they cannot afford, which drives the prices up for everyone to cover for the people who can't pay? Some people pay hundreds of dollars for a health insurance that only covers 70% after paying $15,000 out of pocket. You aren't making more money though, if they keep cutting programs you will be working until you die since you won't g…

https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/16/us/detroit-man-deported-after-30-years-cuomo-prime-time-cnntv/index.html This family just lost their income support. Instead of giving him a green card or a chance to apply for a citizenship he was deported because even though he was brought here a child he could not apply as an adult since he was already here illegally, and now won't be able to apply for 10 years.

So you are okay with children and the poor losing health insurance, and cutting social security, all to make an extra $0.50 an hour while the rich get more money to line their pockets? Or you are okay with deporting working illegal immigrants because they came here when they were 4 years old with their parents? Even though they now have a family and aren't abusing the system like most Americans are? Oh, you think we should give more money to the "military" so the contractors can put it in their …

Which is dumb. I don't use a knife. I just stab stuff in the middle and bite it off.

What? Learn to read. I said if it was a man or woman at 130lbs I would punch them back. I am 260lbs. I said nothing about me being of equal size. What has everything to do with it is someone hitting me first and me acting in self-defense. What is said person pulled a weapon after I just hit them back? You never know, people are crazy. If you throw them on the ground and knock the wind out of them it is much safer for the defender than just throwing a punch back. The initiated the fight with some…

Not really. Throwing her to the ground made her stop hitting him. He would have done the same thing to a guy 100%. If all you do is a measly slap or punch back they will most likely hit you again. Throwing her on the ground prevented things from escalating so she wouldn't hit him again. Self defense is self defense. Throwing a woman on the ground is perfectly okay here. It was a reflex that would have happened if a guy punched her as well. You do not fight fair when someone hits you, that is dum…

If a 130lb grown man hit me I would punch them back. If a 130lb grown woman hit me, I would punch them back. That is 100% equal. Size has nothing to do with it at that point. It is letting the person know you aren't going to take their shit so they will back off.

Yeah, except women are old enough to know better. But to each their own. I just try and treat sexes equally

If a child punched me I would yell at their parents. A child would never hit an adult if they are raised right.

My instinct for anyone who hits me is fight back and not let them get another hit in. There is a thing called adrenaline, and mine kicks in as soon as I see a fist coming at me, and I just fight back.

I think the general rule people go by is if they are bigger than you they could probably beat you in a fight. Some people don't go by that, but pretty sure anyone with a brain does. The best thing to do is just avoid the fight all together. Take a hit to your pride. Never know when the other person will pull a weapon.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
