It’s not dissimilar to how all the 20th century genocidal dictators viewed a certain segment of their populations

Damn, I didn’t realize there was so much toxicity because of radical feminism. Where I grew up, feminism meant women rising up to not be seen as burdens on society and that she is as valued as equally to a boy. 🙃🙃🙃

All of this is projection from the trauma of her break up that is still yet to heal. Believe it or not, her shitty behaviour is not because of you but rather from the pain she still feels from that break up, so she is projecting all that pain onto men as a class of people. Her peace will only come once she looks inwards and takes responsibility for her emotions and works on herself to heal that trauma. That’s much harder and takes longer to do. It’s much easier to blame men. The insidious part o…

Haha, the Patriarchy is talked about like it’s voldemort. Patriarchal structures exist. I mean you can’t tell me a civilization that prefers sons over daughters does not consist of Patriarchal forms of organization. The one-child policy in China had a catastrophic result where many families aborted female fetuses disappointed not bearing son. Now, the population of men is significantly higher than women. This in turn is incentivizing sexual slavery correspondents to sell women as sex slaves i.e …

Myron is talking about strictly from a sexual and reproductive standpoint. Yes, if you are looking at it strictly from that point of view, younger women are clearly advantaged because of their youth indicating healthy fertility (for the most part). Same with men. Men’s sperm is also at its prime in its younger years. Dude, regardless if you are a man or woman being physically old is scary because a) you are nearing death and b) your body is falling apart. But older women do have value in other w…

Essentially, people want to have their cake and eat it too. All the benefits but no responsibility. Alimony make sense when someone cannot function and survive without your money after a divorce meaning they are one shot from being destitute and they have no means prospects of getting a job. If both parties are making money albeit one more than the other then the higher earner should not have to pay alimony if they don’t want to.

That last line is beautifully written and I have not thought about it that way. It makes me feel proud of being a woman more. That’s true men have to carve out their worth, but I guess because women’s biological design is so heavily pointed at child carrying and child rearing. Women hold a lot of sexual and social power. If a woman has autonomy over her body and sexuality she controls the marketplace. Period. Which is why you will see that civilizations had strong patriarchal (I know that word i…

I don’t believe AnP are jealous. They have an influential and sizable platform on Youtube. What are some of their bull-shittery if I may ask because I am genuinely curious. My issue with F&F is that they are disingenuous with their views. Preaches they are alpha males, but that advice is very surface level. Sure, if you are in you are young and had zero luck with women I can see how they would be appealing. Aba n Preach’s commentary checks out for the most part because they talk about building c…

Thank you for the recommendations :) I’ll check them out! Haha Fresh and Fit I know and are in a bit of a tiff right now and it’s fucking hilarious. I predominately watch Aba and Preach. F&F called out copyright strikes on smaller channels who were critiquing them because of all the bullshit and hypocrisy F&F spewed. F&F tried to take down Aba and Preach’s channel through copyright claims because they roasted and exposed the shit out of them. Youtube handed down the verdict today that AnP are in…

It’s the same thing with women if they divulge sensitive information who did not have their best interest. If you think bitches are not out here backstabbing people then you are wrong. I agree that men are not allowed as much room to show more softer reactive emotions like crying as much as women are. I have realized and learn to force myself to not to cheapen my tears in public domain because society expects it from me.

Thank you! Again, I agree that she shouldn’t admit to her body count. Neither should the man. Because it doesn’t matter if you two are serious about one another. Neither party will look good if they admit it or not.
/r/MensRights11/12/21 02:19 AM

That’s true. Women are known for destroying one another through reputation. As for the sex worker, if someone decides to embark on a serious relationship with her, then that man must accept her past. I mean that was her job. If I were to be in a relationship with a soldier then I would need to accept that he might die in battle if he were to be drafted. Same thing dating a doctor. I would need to be adjusting of the fact that there would be days where he would be busy in emergency calls or needs…

Exactly, To which I say if the woke mob didn’t say anything they would almost have the opposite effect than what they did now.
/r/MensRights11/12/21 02:11 AM

Totally understand why you would do that. It again brings back to the point I made earlier. Vulnerability has been cheapened when it is meant not to be. You share those vulnerabilities with people you trust, your inner circle. The people who just came into your life are not deserving of that intimate information because it is none of their business. Sharing vulnerabilities is a practice and you learn to discern when to share and when not to. I am vulnerable in front very few people. Even as a wo…

I have had my fair share of encounters in life. Again, I was in my early twenties and horny and really had low-esteem, but had a blast doing it. It doesn’t stop men from seriously wanting to date me. Do I tell them off the bat? No. Because I know they will judge me at first hand, which is a vulnerability card I don’t show unless I know this will be long-term. But hey, it gave me the confidence to be ruthless in bed and be confident in my sexuality and genuinely love sex. My bf was bothered by my…

Hey, the key is reading the room and if people are deserving of your vulnerability. If they are not, then zip it. If they are, it is still your choice to share or not to share. My attraction towards a man does not wither away if he decides to show emotion in front of me. I know there are women out there that say they want vulnerability but don’t mean it or when they do see it they perceive it as weak even after saying they don’t. Their subconscious and social conditioning can’t help it. But show…

Look hoeing around has consequences for both men and women but to different degrees. Obviously. It’s funny because a lot of the ways we judge sexual deviancy is tied to land ownership and property rights historically. Look, I wish there was a world where sex is not seen as a means to an end and not just treated as boom boom, cum, and done and that sex work was not stigmatized. A lot of the insults women receive when they are sleeping around are terms related to prostitution. I wish we had a more…

Hey, my man! 😁😁 — for me feminine traits in men can be wonderful. I don’t mean extra flamboyant. But aspects of care and nurturing, respect are very admirable. My bf can be considered alpha but he has a soft side that really compliments his masculinity. Masculinity inherently is not toxic. I think what people mean to describe is chauvinism and machismo being toxic. Femininity is not inherently toxic—Heck, I always had the impression that feminine traits were always bad and they were put down by …

I don’t know what the reason is for most double-standards between men and women except the ones stemming from biological differences. Like, why is it okay and people find it laughable when men are battered by women who assault and when a man batters and beats a woman, she is allowed and gains sympathy? Which, rightfully so, but why aren’t men given that same sympathy when it happens to them?? No, we should treat perpetrators of violence without this bias of gender.

I am grateful that you are taking my word for it. Yes, I love being feminine. I draw strength from it, but I also love the masculine traits within me. I use my femininity in how I dress and how I act because there is a lot of power in imbibing that nature. I love looking beautiful and aesthetics in general. I love to nurture, cooperate, be tender. Whereas, my masculine traits benefit me when I want to protect myself or make someone think twice if they double-cross me. I realized in my life I nee…

I agree. My femininity as a woman ebbs and flows with my masculine traits, but I am very proud to be feminine woman. I also have some masculine qualities within me, which I am also proud of. And no, I do not look like a man, but use these traits to my advantage, and no, not to mislead anyone. I present feminine as well. They are a duality for a reason. The examples you listed are unsustainable double standards that some women expect. Trust me, there are level-headed women out there. We are not a…

Yeah, 100% agree on the standards. it may be because I didn’t grow up here, but the standards of women here are ridiculous. I understand you want the best, but what your criteria are not values they are superficial markers. I just want someone who is responsible after themselves, responsible in terms of finances and is willing to cooperate and be a close listener and is family orientated and cares about others and will have my back but also hold me accountable when I am in the wrong. Anyway, tho…

That is true for a lot of women. But women also have really unrealistic standards for men and how they should deal with their emotions. You can be vulnerable (at your own pace) and still be super attractive and sexy. Sharing vulnerability with people you trust is also a skill. No one likes someone who can’t handle themselves emotionally. I have fucked up in the past and am super careful about with whom I share certain pieces of information. Even as a woman, I am wary of how much I share as to no…

I’ve had friendships male-female where I caught feelings and the man did not reciprocate but we still remained friends. I know we are still friends because we talk and genuinely care about one another. It’s not all black and white. And I am not hoping that it would work out because I have moved on.

Crying relentlessly all the time will make anyone think you need to control you emotions more. I’ve gotten that feedback before.
/r/MensRights09/12/21 09:02 PM

I understand. Well, if women can be vulnerable and it is not seen as weak, then women need to understand how to handle men’s vulnerability. I’ve had male friends and partners become vulnerable in front of me. It had no effect as to how desirable I saw them. Then again, I like to nurture, so that might be just me.

I might be the weird one but I like it when men are vulnerable it’s because I get to connect on a human to human level. And I don’t mean to use it as a form of currency. I mean you gingerly hold those words close and safe guard it. Again, women can say they want that from men but many have not graduated to handle that vulnerability. As a woman, I am very selective of how I dispense my vulnerability. Again, not everyone is deserving of it. Same applies to everyone who decides to share. It’s alway…

Feelings are things that should be carefully dealt with and handled judiciously in circumstances. Often, feelings are a great way to reflect what is happening around you because human beings are way more emotional than we are rational. But feelings should not supersede facts. A lot of people don’t know how to harness their emotions. Consider it like a mutant superpower like the x-men’s. I am done with the body positivity movement. It’s packaged hypocrisy. I love that we are seeing more curvy bodies and Thiccness is life. I understand that people should be not degraded and humiliated because of their obesity. But fat people need to also hold their end of the bargain and account for the fact that most people view fatness in this age as undesirable. I am not saying about thicc. I agree. I one hundred percent agree. I know women are surpassing men at the college level. Men’s issues have to be addressed. I care about these problems, which is why I want to be here and listen and understand. Where I come from women choose to be doctors, public health professionals and enroll in the STEM fields or work in huge Non-governmental agencies that require knowledge of at least some sort of STEM. No one is choosing gender studies because they know it won’t make them money. There a …

I agree with you 100 percent. I have seen poor men leave their wives because they get fat after birth or have to take care of the children along with work as domestic help just to feed their families and those men start another family and neglect their first wife. It’s a whole different ball game when you are a poor and an uneducated woman. Again, I have also seen upstanding men in that socio-economic status also. Men have a lot of freedom in the low-middle income countries, which is why it’s ea…

I am telling you a lot of these are very North American-centric issues. Look, I wanted to be a boy when I was a kid when I grew up in South Asia because I was inherently jealous of that being a boy and man gave you a lot more advantages than being a girl. I realized it at 5 years old. I don’t know what planet that North Americans live on but the rest of the world it’s still a man’s world and women just live in it. Afghanistan being the most extreme example. It is getting better and if you come f…

Feminism did a fantastic job for women to catch up to men in education and in the workforce. I am actually worried that men are being left behind these days. If it is not addressed then it is a societal time bomb waiting to explode.

Philosophically, I consider ourselves as equals, but yes we are different in so many ways. I’ll be the first woman to say that publicly. I respect those differences. I don’t get the point of maintaining a false pretense about this. I didn’t grow up in the West, but where I come from women are often told to behave and be more of an adult at a young age than men are. I’ve seen some men be infantilized until their 30’s and 40’s. Adults not wanting to assume duty and responsibility no matter what ge…

I agree that the movements address separate issues. I guess feminism’s fight now is more social in the West at least, which makes it more murky than the political and legal ones of 60-100 years ago. The political, legal and professional fights are easily distilled and measurable. Trust me, where I come from and not where I live now, feminism is needed. And where I live now, Men’s Rights awareness is needed in addition women need to critically evaluate men’s issues if their movement is going to b…

Yeah, I have seen and read that on news. The problems with these kind of people is that they want to have their cake and eat it too. I agree that the movements for men and women should be separated because their aims are different. But we cannot work in silos. Realise both arose because of how they are affected by society and the law and what one side refuses to acknowledge. I assume there are a lot of hurt and frustrated people here and rightfully so.

Women are generally the physically weaker sex, so there is a higher chance of being physically hurt if some sort of violence is experienced, and their safety is always at risk to some degree. I have lived in countries where it is a lot easier walking as a man than as a woman where you are not being followed, gawked at or generally feeling like your safety is at risk. Not saying it’s not dangerous for men out there. It is dangerous in myriad of ways ranging from riskier professions, getting mugge…

As a female, I understand that being discriminated against a feature or trait or something that is as immutable as biological sex is painful to deal with. I just want to say I empathize with this movement. I know feminism is seen as a pejorative word, but as someone who believes that women and girls should be treated fairly and with dignity and respect, I as a woman have a responsibility to uphold and extend those same values for men. I do consider myself a feminist, but really I want the equali…
