From personal experience: If you fight back hard, the situation escalates because there's no way to get them to see reason = weeks of cold war. If you don't fight back as hard, maybe it blows over in a few days. Any theories why girls do this? I remember one time my ex said she was bored, and I suggested she read some books. And she got mad saying that I didn't remember she didn't love to read - even though she mentioned earlier in the relationship books that she had read that she liked. Then she got mad that I didn't suggest/offer anything to help her alleviate her boredom. I don't know how anyone can be bored in this day and age. Even if you just watch youtube or surf there's endless content.

It's impossible for us to know if this woman is lying or not, but if you read past articles about Uber you will know that the people running it are not exactly saints and I wouldn't be surprised if some of what she said was true.
