The solutions is she either changes her mindset/personality to be more compatible with relationships, or she finds peace with being single and simply enjoys her life without the idea of relationships tethering her back. They may be difficult. She may be unwilling to enact them, but those are the solutions. Those are the only ways to resolve this in a healthy way.

<image> This is why I don't like when people describe dating in overly abstract and arcane ways. She's fundamentally incompatible with relationships. That's her perogative, but she's also been told that dating is like magic and if you just do a secret ritual there's a chance a good relationship will fall into your lap. That creates this dilemma where people avoid coming to terms with their reality and finding a solution (whether that's changing or just accepting being happy single) because they …

Is it as simple as wants dress > wears dress?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 10:55 AM

I disagree but oh well
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 10:53 AM

Why does she have 3 legs
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 10:52 AM

I agree except at least offers to pay /split That means she doesn't like you

/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 01:01 AM

Usually social change takes a lot more to enact than kumbaya and everyone just thinking about it really hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 12:54 AM

My point is not that heterosexual women don't exist. My point is their proclivity to self-victimisation at the idea of not dating and having sex with men. When misogynists are denied sex, they will frame it in conflict. Women are denying them sex, and it is bad for them to do so. It is a call to the misogynist's perceived hierarchy; men are greater, so women should acquiesce to men's whims, and they are bad people if they do not. This is contrasted with when women are denied sex, which is explic…

completely erase the bullshit concept entirely and let all individuals be unfettered by antiquated identity shackles. How do you suggest this happens?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 11:35 PM

<image> Misnadry is not real. Male centered women will defer to men and having access to men when push comes to shove every time. They respond to requests to not date men like they're a wounded deer
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 08:19 PM

He was ugly, lame and boring. What experience is that kind of profile supposed to have? Not to mention that while his match rate was low, his rate of converting matches to conversations and dates was absolutely bottom of the barrel. By all measures he's simply a bad and undesirable option. It's not the market's job to prop up bad and undesirable options
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 03:20 PM

I think it makes sense if you're doing it for the tax stuff or for the kids. Those are mid-life things. I don't get the wedding pageantry though.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 11:56 AM

<image> It's rare to see the "misinterpreting friendliness as romantic interest" playbook from women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 10:36 AM

"but women said they don't want assholes" yes most rational women did, some women won't because women aren't a monolith and a chunk of them are bad people. I don't think "most women are wonderful" is all that much better. It's much more rational to just accept people in general don't select based on morality and it's not that big of a deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 10:32 AM

I'm not a "changed man" though. I've known what I wanred since my teenage years

What is your own personal “system” for online dating and relationships? I date people I like that like me back, and avoid people I don't like or who don't like me. What guidelines do you use for making these decisions? It's not really about guidelines so much as just knowing what you want. You need to do some soul-searching and see what it is you truly, in your heart of hears, want. If push comes to shove, what are you willing to compromise on and what are you not?

No. I don't know why anyone would pay for anyone else's discretionary expenses without framing it as a gift.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 06:24 PM

This is a reddit, high morality, nice guy answer. It has nothing to do with morality. It's about not wasting time, effort and energy on women who don't want you The vague reddit scenario of BBs demonstrating their fake mortality is completely different than real life low inhib men cracking Becky every week. /r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 05:16 PM

f she wants to have sex, she can say so. You asked once, she said no, and if she changes her mind, she knows where to find you. There's no such thing as "changing her mind".

/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 05:00 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 04:59 PM

When you dig into these really weird attempts to gotcha a super easy true/false question, the recurring theme is "what if she changes her mind? I mean, the original question is obviously a gotcha itself.

In reality, the assholes are nice in the beginning and it’s only after they sleep with her that they start being an asshole. But being an asshole wasn’t required for him to get laid or a relationship. And once he starts being an asshole is when she either leaves him or they both stay in a toxic relationship that doesn’t last. Or maybe it does last and you find out the woman is as equally bad of a person. The much simpler conclusion is that asshole-ness isn't that big of a needle-mover in either …

Most straight women don’t like to share their men. And they don't have to. That's what an exclusive monofamous relationship is. Unless you're suggesting they're buying into the fairly biphobic stereotype that bi men (and women) are wildly sexually compulsive and incapable of monogamy?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 08:09 PM
2

I’m asking why is there discourse surrounding women not wanting to date bi men Because people find it interesting? Again, people try to deconstruct and analyse dating preferences all the time. Do you also ask why women discuss male preferences for younger women? Do you alsk ask why men discuss female prefefences for height? Why black people discuss the effects of colorism in dating? I'm confused why this one example out of many is being singled out.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 08:06 PM

Yall keep making that claim, but single=\\= sexless. But a frequent claim from blue pillers is that casual sex is something a small minority of people do and that most people have sex in relationships. Do you disagree with that claim?

What is the madness in question? In my experience these discussions are never about "being mad" and it's a common strawman. Do you mean people just delving into the priors and prejudices that inform not wanting to date bi men? Because that's an extremely common dating discussion topic that frequently doesn't get characterised as being mad.

Sex and consent is a vulnerable situation so I can see the viewpoint of people who think covert contracts regarding it are valid (though I ultimately disagree) But I'm absolutely baffled that some people think a man paying for dates with a woman and privately assumes they will lead to sex, would be justified to feel wronged and duped if she chooses not to have sex with him. It's a laughably silly idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 03:15 PM

So how long are you willing to wait before having? Something being a dealbreaker does not mean it is the only thing you want. This is black and white thinking. If someone wasn’t that good at first, would you be OK teaching them to get better? And if someone didnt make sex their priority outside of like once a month, you’d be fine with it? Again, black and white thinking. I never understood when people say that because you’re not going to care about a relationship if your sexual desires aren’t me…

Then don't engage in transactional relationships if you can't keep them above the table
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 12:08 PM

When you become friends with someone you don't draft the contract with outlining of your intentions and help obligations, and yet everyone knows it and expects it because of how you behave. Friendships are entirely self-contained, though. If someone doesn't do the things I expect of a friend, I just won't be friends with them and that's that. At most I'd consider them a bad friend. The scenario in the OP involves a moral calculation, and an implication of entitlement. That a man not wanting a re…

sometimes when you see a side of a person you’re just not feeling it. Which is why people shouldn't engage in these kinds of sexual transactions in the first place. That doesn't really change the situation if it does happen. I do think it is worth separating between genuinely leading someone on and mistakenly rushing into something I don't. Relationships are a complex tangle of words and postures and signs and facial expressions. Things are communicated in lots of different ways. Not in this context, no. You use indirect communication to assess someone's behavior for the purpose of informing your own decisions. Using it to sign a binding contract is manipulative and slimy. /r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 10:26 AM

and he has a right to feel used or icky by the situation or even learning from the experience and not going on many or extravagant dates with future women who don't reciepocate effort. his feeling are valid. There's a world of difference between "operating this way didn't get me what I wanted, I'll do things differently next time" and "this person used me because they didn't contort to my every whim"

Their name, being married, their intentions, what they’re looking for, they stealth with condoms How often are women asking about these things in these situatuons?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 10:23 AM

The problem is "into me" is faulty language. People are usually into people they have sex with and it's an arbitrary emotion. The only thing that matters is whether concrete claims were made.

Idk why these women are posting like they are surprised about this revelation. It is bait. Or they are stupid
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 09:15 AM

What is being used for sex then if consent means it doesn't count? Well it's a silly and presuppository term so nothing. There are far more precise and far more accurste terms to describe the range of situations "being used" is used to describe.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 09:12 AM

That’s like saying a man can’t be ”used for money” if he willingly paid every date Yes? they mean they expected the other person to want more (emotional intimacy, romance, sex, feelings, commitment) and the other person clearly went in to the arrangement with the goal of getting just one thing This is a skill issue solved by not engaging in covert contracts

Women do it more subtly, but men do it more indepth. It's easier to fall for women doing it. It makes more sense upfront and the line between "yeah i see what you're getting at" to "you're trying to fry my mind" is very blurry. The male version is harder to fall into but more like a bottomless pit once you do.

Like, I do take care of myself and I'm not a bum and I'm aware I may well not be partnered if those weren't the case, but it's not like it's some sort of points calculation. It's more that you have a set of traits and attributes, and then someone either likes you or not and then you go from there. As I replied to someone else with the same point, I think a grace period should be encouraged but that at the end of the day just breaking it off is likely to be the best solution for everyone. However that doesn't really change the moral calculation at all. I don't think women should turn into vigilantes and hunt down their rapist, but that doesn't change that rape is rape

I disagree because nobody violently forced/coerced them to do the labor in the first place (that would constitute slavery/rape), Rape doesn't have to be violent force though. Do you think having sex with someone who is clearly drunk while sober is rape? Do you think convincing someone to have sex with you through threats of blackmail is rape? Do you think an adult grooming a child and then having sex with them is rape? None of these involve direcr force or violence but they all involve a party w…

To be as generous as possible, TRP isn't about what ought to be, the TRP is about best navigating what already is. TRP would argue that trying to go for women you aren't attracted to is a waste of time anyway, and that by AWALT, these women like the same things other women do. If you think these assertions are inaccurate that's a perfectly fair stance to argue, but arguing that TRP should be in the business of fundamentally changing what people look for is missing the point.

I agree (well, mainly with point 3). Another way this manifests is just... talking. A lot of men seem to think women are hyper-literal paragons of rationality and reason. This creates conflict when it turns out women are people that use subtext, idioms, hyperbole, venting etc. like anybody else. They think existing while being attractive and succeeding as a result of being attractive is meritocracy in action. In an environment where attractive people are the most desirable, yes? A system where success correlates with and is based in being the most effective and capable at the task in question is by definition meritocratic.

No. I think it requires a lot more than a cake though.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 05:50 PM

An alternative in what way? I don't think being single is a life doomed to loneliness, but at the same time, some people just want relationships dude. You're portraying the want for relationships like it's a means to an end, like you can just repackage the outcomes in a different form and it'll be the same. But a lot od people want relationships for relationships sake. They want the romantic love and the companionship and the whole lot.

Any actions taken in an attempt to make a specific woman like you, or to convince a woman who does not like you to do something such as date you.

Men choose to enter dangerous or physically labour intensive jobs. Men choose to be miserable and lonely. Men choose to dampen their emotions so they can’t feel their grief and can only express anger and aggression. Men choose to be violent towards women. Men choose to rape women. Men choose to end up ostracised by society or in prison. Yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 12:18 PM

Even if all the answer to the answer to 1 and 2 was no and the answer to 3 was yes, it wouldn't change the fundamental fact that's men's issues aren't women's problem and they don't have any inherent need to care about them.

Men wanting to look attractive is understandable. Is it? There seems to be a philosophical aversion a lot of people have to men wanting to improve and change their looks, even beyond the most ridicilous excesses of looksmaxxing. Body positivty seems to be a very fragile notion

How do you spot liars? Familiarise yourself with how people lie and really how people behave in general. The vast majority of people aren't good liars. If you can't do it and insist on weaponised incompetence then again, just don't date men. That's foolproof and requires zero people reading or discernment skills whatsoever.

A non chad trying to have sex by the second date is a hard ask regardless, especially if she’s in their league. You’re either trying to get lucky or need a lower quality woman. I'm not sure what you're getting at You’re also saying women don’t like honesty I mean yeah they certainly don't like this kind of sterilised autistic honesty. it’s what they ask for. Watch what they do etc etc

Both parties didn’t need to waste their time, effort or money on something that may not have gone anywhere. I mean at that point you may as well not go on any dates. Even women that could be interested would be turned off by this kind of autistic approach. I think you just have to accept there will be sone airballs and be willing to dump quickly when it's being more trouble than it's worth.

"The grey area" is simply that women like being asked out by guys they're attracted to and don't like being asked out by guys they aren't attracted to. The problem with your post is that this simply doesn't matter. What difference does it make to your life if a woman that doesn't like you and that you'll never see again is a bit uncomfortable or thinks you're cringe? Absolutely none. Stop caring about the confort and opinions of strangers and start caring about what actually works.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 12:35 AM

I'd say those aren't the same thing. A getaway driver is aiding the robber in escaping with what they stole and preventing them from facing justice. That's not the same as having sex with someone. The more accurate equivalent would be turning a blind eye and minding your business if you see a store getting robbed across the street. In this case I don't think you'd have any moral responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 08:58 PM

The amount of good men heavily outweigh amount of women who are potentially good. Based on what? The situation will not change unless instead of blaming men and patriarchy for their bad choices and understand men they are attracted to have abundance of women under their hands to give them freedom to treat women as expendable option What situation? Weren't you saying there's plenty of good men? What does this have to do with the title?

Not really. I didn't found people compatible with me until I moved, for example. Different places, different cultures, different people. Then I guess you're an exception. If you're born ugly, or dumb, you're that. You can't change that, it's ingrained. You can offset it through effort, to a point. Also the other way around; I'm very good looking, for example, but that was complete luck. Yeah, and attractive people merit dating success, ugly people don't. That's not an outside factor. Your environment, which affects the type of people that surround you, is an outside factor. Your environment plays a relatively small effect on dating success. It is not the make or break. Your genetics, which you can't choose, are an outside factor. No they aren't. People select for the genetics they like dating. They are the opposite of an outside factor. The luck required to find someone you click with, and have them click too, are also outside factors. This doesn't exist. There is no chance …

A hypothetical you made up is not the bar for truth, no. merit based means you somehow earned it or worked towards it. Earned yes, worked towards it no. Merit is purely about suitability and capability. There is no inherent notion of it requiring work to warrant merit. Most of the things people look for when it comes to attraction and wholly outside of that persons control. If they have the things people look and choose for, it means they merit being looked and chosen for.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 02:05 PM

Yes. Dating is one if the very few things with effectively no outside factors. The only way to achieve better dating results is to be a more desirable partner. The only way for someone to fail is to not be desirable enough.

You don't have to marry a stay-at-home mom, if it's an "equal" relationship, or one of the cases where 11%-22% of live births happen to a child whose parents are broken up, custody still often goes to the mother. It has to be that rare stay-at-home dad for custody to *sometimes* go to the father. Then don't get married Yeah, that's BS. Women fuck these men at the end of the day. Thing is a lot of women are into the idea of a natural chad. They see a man who became attractive through deliberate effort and work as a counterfeit, a ruse. It doesn't manifest in practice (they just convince themselved a synthetic chad is a natural chad anyway), but it's a very strong bias in the abstract so it's a big hurdle in changing stereotypes such as this.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 09:34 AM

Except bodybuilding isn't the only way in which muscularity manifests. This is a very dishonest way of engaging already.

Moralization hurts both sexes greatly in the market. It's a shame there's so many bad actors who keep trying to push it.

Men are devaluing their presence and company and making themselves a nuisance. You can't devalue something that never had any to begin with. Women have never appreciated, enjoyed, or valued (romantic) prescence and company from ugly, lame and boring men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 08:51 AM

No, I don't think a cabal of the super rich indicates a wider trend. The OP's presents it as if it's something happening among the Common Joe. The Epstein class are an issue of class and power, not men as a whole
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 10:59 PM

Plenty of women voted for the Epstein class. Plenty of men are against it. I don't see why an ultrarich cabal is a "persistent issue". That suggests it's a wider trend
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 10:15 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 09:45 PM

No one has empathy for people in general, at least not the kind of "empathy" PPD men ask for. If you tell the vast majority of people that someone they don't know, haven't met, and likely will never meet is struggling with something as trivial as "I'm not happy with my dating life", their response will overwhelmingly be something akin to "that sucks I guess". Evopsych isn't relevant here. People just don't care that much about complete strangers.

It is a good example of why allosexuals shouldn't date asexuals and why you shouldn't date someone who doesn't like you
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:41 PM

I mean it's just standard stuff. She wants the guy she likes to initiate and raise the tempo and she wants the guy she doesn't like to back off. Something you just have to understand is that outside like the extreme shit there's no need to care about what's considered "wrong" or "creepy" or whatever. Your actions will be moulded based on her assessment of you anyway.

Even without children, women often end up taking on more domestic labor in live-in relationships. Because of that, I don't see the benefit of living together without the legal and social commitment of marriage How does moving in after marriage solve this?

People focus on the things they lack. A fed but thirsty person will be more concerned with water than food, even though humans need both.

I'd go with seperation. I imagine being conjoined is a nightmare. I'd assume my quality of life would be better on my own but asexual than conjoined with a penis. Add on the moral implications for my brother and it's a pretty definitive vote for separation.

Why is it only fraud when women do it? Extracting money/resources under false pretenses is fraud when men do it too.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 11:50 PM

Putting the mother in jail punishes the child too, and that’s not fair. It could take away their only parent and end up putting them into the foster care system. Accountability should fall on the person who committed the fraud, not on the child. This is applicable to any crime done by a parent.

you ever think to yourself how irredeemably abysmal life is for love to be contingent on something so petty and meaningless as whether or not you happen to be one of a million other miserable species? Are you friends with worms? Do you buy things made by worms from worms? Just because some men are attractive enough to get away with being toxic, usually with women who are similarly toxic, does not mean that your own toxicity isn’t a reason for your dating failures. That's exactly what it means though. Clearly the determinant factor is being unattractive. If both toxic and non-toxic hot, fun and exciting men do well, while both toxic and non-toxic ugly, lame and boring men do badly, saying toxicity is the cause of lack of dating success is entirely irrational.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 02:26 PM
7

Every single study on the topic shows that people look for partners who are kind or generally exhibit pro social behaviors. Which is irrelevant to the point, since being ugly broke and awkward aren't pro-social traits. Being awkward is anti-social if anything.

There's no objective basis for the "right" things to open up about, it is simply a form of plausible deniability for women being unable to handle male emotions. The only person who could provide a consistent and reliable assessment of a man's emotions is himself. It is far more productive for a man to be emotionally robust and capable and handle his own emotione than to play these kinds of word games.

I read it. How people rank a line-up of photos is indeed worthless to actual dating dynamics. Men don't want to be number 1 in a study. They want to be the guy she breaks her rules for and demands the least investment from. Women don't want to be number 1 in a study, they want to be the gal he can't stop thinking about and the one he goes out of his way for.

It's not a made up scenario. When men talk about leaving a relationship because of a lack of sex, they are called selfish and childish.

I'm glad misandry doesn't exist so I benefit from not facing any sexism for being a man, but I'm also glad it doesn't exist because it not existing has created the word moid. -oid words are so fun to say but people who say foid are really annoying. Thankfully, misandry diesn't exist and therefore women created the word moid, so now I have a -oid word to use that doesn't have any negative effects.

But the whole point of standards is it's about what you want. You're acting as if they're just entirely arbitrary. It increases filtering of potentially good partners, not just bad ones (false negatives) A good partner would meet my standards. People who don't meet them aren't false negatives, they're just people I wouldn't want to date It encourages optimization of traits that don’t reliably predict long-term relationship quality. Relationship quality is entirely subjective It shifts focus from…

Culture and attachment play huge roles in it and it's not just some transactional market that commodifies people. That doesn't really prove anything. Culture and attachment play a role in all kinds of markets. Different cultures have different attitudes regarding meat consumption. Brand loyalty is rife. Do these factors somehow prevent there being a market based around sellers supplying a resource and buyers demanding it?

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 09:06 AM

If it's a man saying it, it's cope or virtue signalling. If it's a woman saying it, it's because she's uninformed about male physique (possibly female physique too) and has a skewed perception of "muscular" Sometimes she's virtue signalling too, but it's usually just the above

The entire reason people use the word "personality" in these discussions is for the sake of motte and baileys. It's not really some sort of critical flaw of comprehension as you describe, it's just that the entire conversation is rooted in people wanting to have their cake and eat it while retaining plausible deniability. It is worthless to have discussions centered on a term used deliberately for the sake of vagueness rather than clarity.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 01:12 AM

Seems like OP is correct then. These women would benefit from making this an expectation early on.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 09:19 PM

The hypothetical women you described think that. That's why they'd have to compromise in the first place. It is better for them to date people they're compatible with than people they aren't compatible with.

If they don't like short men, yeah. It's much more efficient to just put in a line in the sand early rather than "compromising" for a mediocre relationship and then having a messy breakup anyway

Most girls are not "clearly" expressing this, they keep stringing them along because they like the attention. Well, we are already telling girls “how to not get spiked” And it should continue. Every 18 year old should know to not drink any drink you haven't been constantly watching. clearly more needs to be done. More, yes. The example I provided had an oppositional tone, not an additive one. The clubs need to be monitoring better and people need to call it out when they see it and call the police. Sure. That has nothing to do with teaching men not to spike though.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 07:40 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 12:55 PM

My hypothesis is that a large number of asexuals are effectively closeted as a result of society being so geared around sex and relationships. It's getting better but there's still obviously massive social pressures involved
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 11:47 AM

The solution to mismatched libidoes is simply to not date asexuals as an allosexual and to not date allosexuals as an asexual. I know why it doesn't happen, but still.

Can you imagine blindly trusting a Karen to tell you the truth? What does that have to do with anything? Like going to therapy and not making his problems everyone else’s. Theraoy is not always needed, but yes. A man attempting to seek emotional solutions in others is a fool's errand.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 12:01 AM

This difference is flippant and conditional. The person on the recieving end attributes the descriptor they personally prefer. Therefore, the only possible trustworthy and reliable analysis of a man's emotions is from the man himself. Therefore, the only rational and effective approach for a man's emotions is for the man to be capable of handling the enterity of his own emotional load and doing so.

women (like men) want to date someone that impresses their friends. Women want to date men they like. multiple times when a woman’s friends think a guy is ugly or they have some bad trait like height you’d be surprised on how easily they get dropped. Both statement have the same number of arguments backing them up as yours. You can make up as many arguments as you want for anything. A far more important metric is the number of valid and impactful arguments you can make.

This is just complete nonsense. Male-centered women (the majority of the dating population) will always prioritise a man they like over their friends. If her friends can convince her away from a guy, she simply never liked him to begin with and large problems would be caused eventually anyway.

Tackle puritanism and embrace sex positivity. The only real reason people deliberately choose (i.e, excluding stuff like someone just being asexual and having that baked in) to not have casual sex nowadays is because they evangelise sex. The people talking about stigma are a bit facetious since people have been having casual sex for generations upon generation upon generations in spite of stigma far more impactful and material than whatever counts as modern day slutshaming

You really have no right to force your partner into a life where he or she doesn't get to have as much or as little sex as they want. Which is why divorce exists So let your partners cheat because you have no right to tell them otherwise You do. That's what (most) marriage contracts entail. I was being a bit of an asshole in the second one, apologies, but when he says 'women don't like talking to you', I thought it obvious that he referred to himself. Women not liking you talking to them for a certain reason in an abstract, moralised way is not the same thing as disliking every second of conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 08:55 PM

One of the advices being discussed is 'go to the gym'. This is not good advice for dating. It is. Talking to people who dislike you is not going to improve your social skills. Who said they all dislike him?

Your post seems to have nothing to do with the title. Expecting attraction to be a tit for tat isn't being selfish, it's just a really narrowminded view. People uktimately just want what they want. A beauitful person might want a rich person. Or they might not. "Fair game" is a loaded term, you can be attracted to and talk to whoever you want, but this is regardless a very silly mindset to have.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 08:08 PM

<image> That's odd. (Some) PPDers repeatedly insist that "being given a chance" is perfectly valid and nothing to be concerned about. And yet these women are openly talking about how it's done out of pity. How come? Where's the disconnect? Do those PPDers think these women are just lying?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 08:02 PM

If you don't want to engage with the point at all, sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 02:27 AM

Again, cold war. The point is the feeling of superiority rather than any actual superiority.

If she fell in love with me I would've been her type. What you're describing is someone amnivalently settling.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 01:47 AM

<image> I come with another example of the gender cold war. Considering like mainstream media and stuff are only just getting to stuff like Tate and Fresh and fit I wonder how long it'll take for this stuff to get covered.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 01:46 AM

Maybe you just weren't her type originally, but after getting to know you, she changed her mind. That sounds like a nightmare.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 01:38 AM

I'd leave then.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 11:38 PM

I don't think it'd accomplish much. You'd just get a lot of people quickly umatching if they don't like the photos. Also it'd probably get a stigma of beibg for uggos.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 11:36 PM

I don't see any tattoos.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 11:33 PM

How would you get past that Get past... what? My wife thinking something is possible? how do you think it would make you feel to know that she truly believes that you are capable of hurting her that way? Nothing. Someone thinking I maybe could possibly do something is so wishy washy I'd pay it no mind. Would you leave? No.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 09:42 PM

How? Do you also think the sentence "fast and fit people find track and field easy" to be just world fallacy too?

What do you think dating coaches do? Dating coaches (attempt) to help people in dating, advising them regarding finding a partner, flirting, etc. What do therapists do but with you know actual academic foundations? Therapists help people address self-inflicted mental health issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 05:36 PM

You can do that, they're giving bad advice. That doesn't make the advice to go the vym useless.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 05:34 PM

No but im not the one going against the entire field. Saying therapists aren't dating coaches does not go againat the entire field. If anything I'd wager most therapists would affirm that point and say their field is far more indepth.

A therapist will help you talk to women and become a person who can actually have a relationship. No it won't.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:02 PM

How convenient that every abuser on the planet just so happens to appearantly be a chameleon that can switch personalities on the fly. You have to wonder how they are ever caught and how the concept of an abuser even exists when they possess the ability to swap between being saints and devils like a lightswitch

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 02:02 PM

Of course women push back because they keep explaining to you guys that it does have an effect on dating. It doesn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 01:50 PM

When women show creepy text messages they get from guys they were talking to on dating apps, do you say that is staged too? Again, I don't see the relevance to my reply
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 01:33 PM

People say go to the gym, but also not to go for the sake of finding a partner so that’s kinda weird. Go to the gym. Even if it's for the sake of finding a partner. I don't care, just go. women don’t like talking to you just so you can get social reps in. Who cares? The opinions of random women you have no relation to should be worthless to you.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 12:19 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 12:17 PM

I don’t think putting in less effort is what attracts women. Effort simply has no effect on attraction in general. The only factors ade looks and sociability.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 02:48 AM

I don't see the issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 02:23 AM

So, if women allegedly always want "more" than what they are, That's a false premise Is that somehow inadequate treatment for the man? Or is an average man getting average treatment from an average woman okay? Depends on what the man is looking for

Which means it works. I don't see the point in engaging in pedantry over what it means for an entirely optional contract to "work".

/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 09:38 PM

Women bring it up more than men these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 07:50 PM

Consider an example such as nexting. Nexting is fundamentally just a byproduct of being desirable, having an abudance mentality, and not overinvesting. Nexting isn't a "strategy" so much as it's a thing you can do to save yourself some time. Nexting in and of itself does nothing except the nexting itself, blowing off an option to refocus on better ones. Focusing on nexting as a priority won't lead you anywhere, just like buying a mansion is a thing rich people do rather than a way to get rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 04:57 PM

I don't think highly of TRP, but I think a crucial part of extracting whatever theoretical value it may have is distinguishing between things that make you successful, versus aping the byproducts and mechanics of success for the sake of looking successful. The goal is to be high value, not do the things high value men do

A lot of passport bros are preachy and judgy though. And I mean, how exactly do you think dating abroad works? Foreign women aren't a different species. They love hot, fun and exciting men as much as western women do. If you're a capital L loser at home I don't see how changing surroundings is going to change your prospects
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 12:36 AM
1

It's not adversarial so much as it is self-interest. My point about being adversarial was about the discourse, not individually wanting to pay. "Disrespecting by paying", "the man is responsible", etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 12:33 AM
2

Women only offer to pay on the first if they don't like you but there's no reason to get offended about it. I'm not a "the dating market is broken!!!" guy but I do think this discourse comes from a negative trend of being really adversarial in dating. A fair chunk of people approach dating as a power game where you "win" by having someone fold, or getting more invested than you, or just generally getting one up on them
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 10:41 PM

It's a cop out regardless. Tit for tat gender dynamics is worthless.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 06:48 PM

Correlation, not causation.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 06:46 PM

Female friends is an odds-raiser. They don't. They correlate with an odds raiser (sociability), but has no effect in and of itself. If an ugly, lame and boring man magically, hypothetically, gained a bunch of female friends, their chances wouldn't improve. If a hot, fun and exciting man magically, hypothetically, lost all their female frirends, their chances wouldn't improve.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 03:16 PM

I don't mind avoiding men So again, what is there to debate? Instead of using vague "they don't unsterstand", explain what your actual contention is
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 03:15 PM
2

Is this a good message? Tbh in like 99% if cases I think it's just up to the receiver than anything to do with the message. Like if I got this message I'd just shrug, accept it and move on. But that's just my attitude towards rejection in general. I din't think there's a way to phrase it thay will make someone who can't take rejection happy. That's just something they have to work on with themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 01:53 PM

i'll just avoid almost all men as a part of that solution So? You complained about engaging with unliked men. You were presented with a solution. The solution results in you not engaging with unliked men. What is there to debate?

The threat exists, a lot of women just don't care about it.

No. There are non-male-centered women, but those women aren't misandrist because they simply don't care about men.

Examples of male-centered women mean misandry doesn't exist? These aren't examples of male-centered women. This is an example of how male-centered women can't hate men. Therefore, misandry doesn't exist. Does the plethora of men here who argue incessantly on the behalf of women mean misogyny doesn't exist? No.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 03:01 AM

Women who’ve been physically beaten or emotionally abused possibly as early as 14-23 are likely to believe that physical abuse is a normal part of relationships. Then these women should stop dating and look for role models of successful relationships. it’s not a case of them being stupid or choosing to live that way. They are choosing to live that way. Low inhib isn't necessarily dangerous. It's more just having less filters, being open to social risks, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:44 PM

Mostly media careers. And I mean, yeah being in a cushy office job with halo effect factored in is way more appealing than being a SWer in an underdeveloped market.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:43 PM

The drinking age in the UK is 18
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:39 PM

Low inhib is like a fundamental trait of being a (consensual) SWer, and it makes men more attractive to women as a bonus.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:37 PM

<image> PPD women claim this never happens
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:35 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:34 PM

Nah this is cope. If they actually like the guy (like like him, not "well I guess he's stable") they won't care about that. If anything she's more likely to think holding out will scare him off. It's not worth getting worked up over, but let's not pretend like total sexual liberation would stop women from wanting to hook up with hor guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:34 PM

That's probably Indian/Nigerian ragebait
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:31 PM

Hot, extroverted, charismatic, low inhibition guys already have better ways of making money

<image> Online food dating comes off as an insane and anti-human ritual. I can't possible imagine going on a "date" where my primary concern is this arcane employer-employee old western standoff where you see who folds first, instead of just having fun with someone else. Do people treat friendships and family this way too?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 08:41 PM

I'm pretty noise sensitive but thankfully none of the people who lived in my blocks have been all that loud.

Every time this kind of question gets asked the women say they'd slay endlessely while the men say they'd bag any man they want. Unfortunately a bit of a useless hypothetical when the pos>tion of a lot of people is just "I'm too good to date, they're the ones fucking it up" anyway.

Again what is the point of telling people who are very hungry to stop focusing on food? Again, that isn't happening. We're telling people to stop exclusively thinking about stuffing their face.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/26 06:28 PM
1

It's perfectly possible to be hungry and not to exclusively think about stuffing your face as much as possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/26 06:15 PM

Men putting women on a pedestal is not equivalent to simply "wanting food". No one is asking men to stop wanting women.

The problem is that "personality" is a broad and obfuscatory term.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/26 05:42 PM

some guys getting dates while having a bad personality does not mean your personality isn't a problem. It does. If a bad personality proves to not be a limiting factor for many, many people, it's only reasonable to conclude it isn't a limiting factor for a particular individual The reasonable conclusions are either that personality doesn't matter, or that the calibration for good and bad personality are faulty (the latter is correct in this case).

How does this have anything to do with whether respectful men are necessarily likable?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/26 05:37 PM

The problem is the idea that "listening" accomplishes anything. Observing actions is the only accurate method of assessing behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/26 05:34 PM

Telling men not to put women on a pedestal is like telling hungry people to think about something other than food. It's perfectly possible to be hungry and not to exclusively think about stuffing your face as much as possible.

Did you miss the BUT? I didn't, that part just isn't true. There is absolutely nothing that will make someone attractive if they don’t meet a woman’s initial basic threshold. Correct. Which is why the only things that matter are the things that go into that threshold, namely looks ans sociability. There are multiple things that will make a person absolutely unattractive even if they originally did meet that threshold. Nope

/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 01:48 PM

…are you arguing just to argue I'm arguing because I disagree with your statement. WHY don’t people want to have kids? For the same reason they don't want to have pets, or to golf, or to waterski. Some people just don't feel like doing some activities.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 01:48 PM

None if these factors have tanked birth rates. People just don't want kids.

Lack of romantic outlet (for lack of better terms) correlates with higher rates of property crime (amongst other types), anti-social behavior, substance abuse, and if that skyrockets, it can have other unknown effects down the line. Men are still expected to pay more (or everything) while courting Men are expected to plan, organize, and “give her the experience” Men must take the lead, perform, and prove their value Only women who don't like you will expect this.

<image> I give a lot of grace to radfems when smugposting, but there's definitely a lot of really nasty ones. An underrated aspect of the female struggle is how it really comes from all sides. Misogynists are a thing of course, but then you have to deal with the societal entrenchment, and internalised misogyny. Meanwhile males think someone saying something mean or inflamatory is a sign the male population is under perilous attack.

It can be painful, expensive, emotionally difficult, and sometimes psychologically traumatic. Abortion can be all of these things regardless of the existence of paper abortions. This is an argument for programs that make abortions cheaper, more convenient, and potentially even research into easier methods. But this is not an argument against paper abortions. WHY don’t women want to? For the same reason someone might not want pets, they just don't. It's not an activity they feel like doing. It’s largely because it’s too expensive. There’s not enough support. Expenses and support hasn't stopped people from having children anywhere at any point in time. This is the most prosperous and supportive time to have children in the history of the species. People just don't want kids. There is too much sacrifice. Exactly.
