Consider this. Every "observable" difference shrinks the pay gap. Every observable difference correlates with men's desire for money and career obsessiveness. As much as this pains me: They shouldn't prosecute her. 1) She was a minor when she "did" the crime. 2) More importantly it would discourage people from coming clean. They SHOULD however send the judge, jury and prosecutor in jail.

Don't wanna be a Debbie Downer but the study claims at the end "that both genders of teachers increase the gender gap. With male teachers it increases because girls try harder. Which is good. While with female teachers boys try less hard. Which is bad. So already there male teachers are better in the current climate, even though they don't effect the gender gap. But the study also says that female students have a more incorrect perception of the teachers biases. So that might have an effect.

I think it means that male teachers gave both female and males the same grades. But they gave boys a better grade than the anonymous examiners did or something.

Yeah, this doesn't surprise me at all. When I went to school we had mean teachers of both sexes. While the mean male teachers were mean to everyone, the mean female teachers really seemed to hate boys. Especially me! It might be a feminist thing, or it might be that women get more annoyed by children with poor communication skills. And boys are on average worse at communication than girls. Especially me!

This is definitely correct. It is part culture, but also largely biology for men to obsess about the safety of women. And for women to obsess about the safety of women. This results in a kind of hyper-vigilance when talking about violence regarding women, as opposed to men.
