Who said she has to be a SAHM? That's quite rare. More common high up the income chain like top 1%, but for nearly everyone the woman returns to the workforce at some point (afford daycare or kids are old enough to be alone). You're adding a condition about a woman desiring to be a SAHM which is not what this is about. How many outlier conditions are you going to add in to try to prove a point about the majority? It is quite literally what this post and comment chain is about. If you aren't talk…

I'm just saying there's thresholds for this. SMV has diminishing returns too when it exceeds what someone is very content with (when it comes to LTR). Lots of men making $250K would choose to begin a LTR with a 7 who makes $100K over a 9 who only has aspirations to be a SAHM. They aren't going to trust the latter. The vetting process to trust something like that requires years from the man's perspective. You only get a few months at best before casual dating turns to LTR. In a perfect world wher…

This isn't just a porn issue I'm sorry. If he goes even 1-2 days without porn and isn't responding to your sexual advances and foreplay with enthusiasm, there's another problem.

Friendship requires some maintenance. How much is appropriate is completely subjective. But yes, total withdrawal and distance will lose friends. Would need more details to know what is reasonable in any given situation.

I don't mean to be negative, but your standards seem relatively high. I'm not sure what you bring that would attract this type of person, being attractive is nice but that's a broad spectrum. I'm not saying you don't have these qualities - I'm saying literally nobody could determine whether you do based on this post. I can promise you that very few men care what your hobbies are. Especially ones who want to be fathers very soon. Most men also don't care much about whether a woman is in great sha…

Most men just aren't going to entertain kids without stable conditions. 2 unstable incomes, no marriage, no family house, 5 months of dating? That's just a non-starter for most people honestly, it will take him time. If you truly feel you can't wait, or it's too risky to wait, you need to find a provider who wants to be a father. But you'd be making other compromises with this person. 28 to 33 is a long time. Most of his peers will start making these leaps, and he will probably get more comforta…

Where you live is critical here, but low 6 figure's is not enough for much of a lifestyle most places. I don't think this has anything to do with how he sees you and your wishes. It's simply not practical, so he's concerned. It would require huge sacrifices from both of you. It is nice to think you can persevere through any circumstances, but resentment is a big risk.

Like most things, within reason nobody will care. Most men do not care about stretch marks or a scar, unless they are very visceral and severe. Excessive flappy skin might have some people caring. It's largely binary - men think you're hot enough to date, or not. If they find you hot, and enjoy your time enough to partner with you, these small things are irrelevant. Something that does matter however, is being confident in your body and your attractiveness. That will win people over.

You're 35, I'm sorry but you don't really have time to wait for him to change, or find someone else. If you want kids you should probably get on with it. Unless this is a new relationship or something.

It has nothing to do with OF, but I agree most men wouldn't care about the body count of a healthy woman. There's just a throughline of other traits that tend to turn them away, it's not the actual number of partners.

Highly depends on where you're open to living, and what type of person you're open to living with. To agree on this from the onset, you'd have best luck with a man looking for a trad wife.

A man making 250K, who is not apprehensive about entering a relationship with a $0 income partner who wants to be a SAHM, is a very rare pokemon. If it's his long term partner deciding to leave her career and stay home, much different story of course. If they didn't value their money, they could coast at a way less stressful job with far better work/life balance.

For a family they love, yes. For a family they don't, probably not.

He's probably stressed about the travelling for some reason. You need to ask him, there's not nearly enough info for someone to help you here.

Very few men care at all. By the time you'd find out, you're already too invested anyway. If you're disease free and not a cheater, most wouldn't care if it was 50.

You're dating a guy with no experience. He just has no idea what to do and doesn't want to do something wrong. He has no confidence because he has no experience, he's going through what a teenager usually goes through at this point. Best thing you can do is give him very clear and direct boundaries, tell him what you like and what you want. He will learn, but you'll have to teach him. If you don't need his consent to do certain things, tell him. Ask if he understands clearly once you've told him…

Honestly it is very naive to judge someone's success at 21. I'll accept the premise that he's lazy just to illustrate the point. A lot of 'lazy' people make a ton of money - it can be a valuable trait in someone who seeks out efficiencies. I find it odd this hasn't even crossed your mind since you work in tech? There's like a laundry list of success stories. My 2 highest earning friends are a dropout, and someone who has automated their job to the point that they work 2 hours a day and otherwise…

I think it's natural for a man to think that, the difference is he felt comfortable enough vocalizing it to you. Maybe he was just aroused on hopeful it would lead to something, or he thought you'd appreciate her beauty too. You could flip it around by asking him to tell you what he thought the first time he met you. What parts of you drive him crazy (because they for sure do).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
