Let her do the mortgage assumption unless you intend to keep paying the mortgage. She fucked you in the ass

Very typical situation. Divorced women, especially late 30s and early 40s, want a human connection but 99% of men will not settle for a woman with 3 kids. Therefore it’s a continuous cycle.

Well, Reddit isn’t exactly the appropriate medium. While there is diversity of population, the sentiment on your mentioned subjects will likely align more with what you are ranting against. Just know you’re not alone….

It’s 50/50 of CURRENT assets. Do not entertain any projections for future earnings.

Which is why you read the article and not the link or the headline. Most likely it was updated several times but they never updated the hyperlink so as to not kill sourced links.

Divorce decrees deal with community property and assets. They can also entail benefits like medical or dental insurance, but they never deal with property insurance. If you want legal advice ask a lawyer, I’m just providing anecdotal experience and common sense.

I would say it applies everywhere. Auto insurance is only required to be supplied by the owner/driver of the subject vehicle.

If her vehicle is not an asset for which you are financially responsible then go ahead. If the registration and title or note are solely in her name then you have ZERO obligation to insure the vehicle. It’s really that simple and there will be no legal repercussions from removing that vehicle from your insurance policy.

All I can say is that every woman I’ve been with since my divorce had nothing but compliments for my dong. Perhaps the problem was the ex-wife. 🤔

She’s your ex. You shouldn’t worry or care about her BS.

As others have said. Crocodile fucking tears. Let that bitch go fuck herself in her new life. Be happy that you’re free my brother.

She cried to show emotion. She feels guilty for being the cunt that ruined your life. It’s all a self-aggrandizing show. If you fall for it then you’re a cuck.

Once the D word is spoken, you can’t unring that bell. Tell her if she wants a divorce, then you support her decision. ✌🏼

We had that added at mediation. XW wanted to cap extra-curricular expenses at $1200/year per child. I agreed.

Without an arrest or conviction it will not show on a NICS. You have nothing to worry about unless you have been arrested arrested/convicted for DV. You’re really overthinking this, dude.

It’s completely broken and irreconcilable. Once you accept that reality you path forward will become much more clear.

I’m afraid to say your marriage is over. You need to focus on yourself. Continue to make the improvements that ensure you are the best parent possible to your children.

I agreed to go uncontested. I filed. I make way more than her; however, she is giving me the kids 75-80% of the time. She doesn’t want child support. We agreed to $250/month alimony for one year. I will cover the kids medical, dental, vision and after-school care. There is no way she could do this on her own with her salary. Also, she would be financially ruined with a contested divorce. Those are underlying motives for uncontested. The primary reason being to limit any damage to our two boys. S…

We have been struggling the last 6 months. She actually left for 9 days in January; left our two boys in the house with me. I offered to do marriage counseling. We did that for 10 weeks and our communication and day to day improved, however, she thought it was providing diminishing returns so we did not renew our session plan. Fast forward to last Friday and we get into an argument on the phone about her making plans after work. Same breakdown in communication and it igniting a verbal fight. Thr…
