Freedom to live where you want, freedom of religion, freedom to seek any work you like, persue any hobby you desire that doesn't harm others, freedom to study any subject, freedom to criticise and ridicule politicians, freedom to BE a politician, etc. These freedoms have been fought for, and need protecting as governments aren't benevolent. My main gripe with benevolent socialists is the fact that government isn't historically benevolent. History is full of the peasants and slaves having to kill…

Western culture isn't hookup culture. I live in the west in my mid-twenties. I work all week, save for my life plans, spend the weekends playing board games, cycling, going to quiet pubs etc. Reading books, listening/watching philosophy and history documentaries. There is more than clubs. Find people that enjoy other things. Find a job that isn't an office. I have never worked in an office and never want to. There IS a lot of low effort commercialisation and consumerism in pop culture but pop cu…

You can be anti-immigrant in the UK we have anti-immigrant politicians, political parties and the whole Brexit vote had border control as a main point of contention.

I just use supermaket cheap as fuck 1 blade disposable razors. Just be careful and use a thick lather of soap with a brush. Shaves close, no issues. Bought my soap bowl I shave with 5 years ago and it hasn't ran out yet. For about £3 and pack of razors 50p.

Wait hold up. At what point do you find out that Miller is Liquid? At the end of MGSIV with the 20 world shattering plot twists all in the last cutscenes. I had no clue what happened at the end of that game except The Pissing Guard married that redhead whose name I forget and Big Boss was like "yo whaddup I ain't dead". It had plot twists on plot twists that nullified the plot twist you just heard about. I fucking love that game franchise. My all time favourite character is Decoy Octopus whose o…

If someone wants to figure skate and do some beautiful dancing on ice, I ain't going to stop them. Sounds as MGTOW and chopping down trees for a living. As long as it is what he truly wants to do then all power to him. If a man wants to spend his life designing cuddly toys, if it is true to himself then all power to him. I love cuddly toys. Got one from my incubator when I was prematurely born by my bed right now. I have a teddy I found two years ago strapped to my bicycle or staring out my truc…

I love interesting beers but the number of overly hoppy, rinse and repeat, all 'quirky' in the same way, shite beers, in arty packaging, for £5+ a pint is too damn high! Too high.

Do scaffolding for a time and save up but get out before it wrecks your body, same as any hard labour profession. Or stay in it, your call ultimately. That said I love scaffolding structures. I find them so impressive seeing elevators and staircases fitted into what is really just loads of poles fitted together at the right point so as to hold all the other poles. So simple and genius! I drive trucks and few women you do meet on the road are pretty cool. Driving around for my job in the UK the b…

My Xmas is less shitty so far. Just learned all my friends are socialists and think wealth redistribution is OK. All of them are feminists. I kept bringing up men's issues and they agreed they were issues too. So I questioned why identify as a FEMinist if you do care for all genders. We had common ground but I didn't support the FEMinist label. Then we talked a lot about men's mental health and it got blamed on toxic masculinity. Which yeah men are conditioned to be tough and hyper-rational but …

Freedom to get dicked on by dispatch. Classics such as me this Thursday: "Sorry gotta do a 45 minute reset [EU rules] I am only an hour away though" "How much time do you have?" "30 minutes and I have 40 minutes to drive" "Well drive on and see how you do" "...no?".

I cooked in my cab. Only on a stove tho. Simple stuff like stir-fry, sausage and egg, boil in bag rice and beans. I always had a load of fruit and nuts available too. You can get electric ovens and microwaves. It takes time to cook and clean well but is a nice unwind from the day.

Dave Rubin went from liberal to classical liberal but he seems to like libertarianism, which pissed everyone off. He doesn't really hold any far-out views. He is a talk show host I imagine his channel appeals to anyone who likes humans making mouth noises, left or right. I wouldn't say Jordan Peterson is right wing at all. He does speeches giving recommendations to the Left and to the Right such as A Left-wing Case for Free Speech and Principles for 21st Century Conservatism. He used to be a mem…

Yep it is totally all about money. There is controversy in England now as a large number of students get UNCONDITIONAL offers. You just get a space so the university gets your government grants. Money changes hands and papers gets signed. Someone is getting rich.

My go to is stir-fry. Just sear the veg to keep in that fresh raw flavour, takes 15 minutes. Add tonnes of noodles and spinach leaves to bulk it up if wanting to make loads. Garnish with sesame seeds. Used to eat it every night when OTR trucking. Healthy, tasty, refreshing. Good shit. Takes 15 minutes. Fuck truck stop food, they serve insults on a plate, shit they serve is disrespectful.

As a truck driver you are training to become a literal everyday hero. You save the day, every day. So my previous aim was to become a truck driver. As after playing too many truck simulator games and leaving university kinda lost. I got a car licence, rigid and articulated truck licence within 6 months. I am overall satisfied but the job is hard, the hours long, and in my area the pay isn't great. So I have a new goal. For a short spell between graduating and trucking I cycled for Deliveroo as I…

Do enough to fulfill your contract and then GO HOME AND BE FREE. Work functions: NO. After work drinks: NO WAY. Secret santa/bring in food to share/any other office "feels and team building" activity: NOPE. Giving any personal information that isn't required to fulfill your contract: NEVER. Those HR personnel questionnaires? Just N/A, Would rather not disclose/Prefer not to say all of it. Does HR need to know my sexuality? Religion? No.

UN Missions are full of corruption. You host missions in messed up societies, staff them with people from other messed up societies for "representation, diversity" and you have millions of dollars up for grabs in contracts and aid provision. I have relatives working in the UN and their stories are endless I won't give any major details for Dox reasons. Once you leave the UN the UN can't investigate crimes as they don't enforce law. So people embezzle funds then just resign asap. If the funds are…

Paying tax is the biggest wake up. The one that makes me angery, down in my core, is income tax. Ok Value Added, I buy more expensive shit, I pay more tax. Ok. Road tax, ok. Roads are torn up by vehicles and vehicles are noisy, polluting etc. Ok discourage private vehicle use with tax. Income tax: I live in a monetary system where I need numbers in a bank account to pay to survive. So I pick a profession and give the time and energy of my limited life on earth to earn enough numbers. I use these…

The left: don't let the ruling class divide us. Don't fall for divide and rule. The left: working class vs. upper class, men vs. women, PoCs vs. White. Fucking all of this is stupid. Itinerary for the weekend. Do chores. Beer with da bois. DnD with da bois. See my grandparents. Homosocial bonding over all the women I harmed while working 60 hours a week risking life and limb to deliver all the Made in China, earth polluting shite that the (primarily female) consumer spends money on. OP has made the right choice. I used to ride my bike every day and at weekends. Now I rarely have the energy although i am saving up for big cycling plans so MOWae is still in my heart. Don't let anything take your hobbies and passions away from you unless it is a temporary investment to improve access to those hobbies and passions in the future. Don't be a wage/taxation slave. If you can get by on low earnings then there is no shame in doing so.

Cycle around non-stop. A tent and some gear on my bike and just cycle to wherever I felt and then to the next wherever and on and on and on. Going to start doing this in a couple of years anyway. Just cycle around and work low-skill labour jobs here and there to keep the money coming in.

Same age age and I know 2 married guys both 29 and 30 years old. Same with work colleagues only the older ones are married, everyone else is single afaik. Nobody else I know is married or even in a relationship. Got a friend who still goes for casual hook ups, he is the only one I know. Nobody else is even dating or hooking up. What a time to be alive. Everyone is too tired and stressed to date wages have been stagnant for a decade if not longer and now all this #metoo shit.

This approach to MGTOW suits me just fine. Women just aren't any of my life goals and I don't have any time to deviate. Romance and sexual relationships have never brought me secure and prolonged contentment. Definitely a non-believer. Although i describe myself in terms of life goals. "Why single guidedogsrgoodest?" "Women and sex aren't involved in my singular life goal". So I stick with safe social investments: existing friends and family. Keep my head down at work to keep my income safe: I d…

My mental health goes through major peaks and troughs every few months. I work all the time driving trucks, a high stress, high risk, high bullshit/absurd/out of your control job. A job that I don't benefit from (I don't have time to buy any of this shit I transport) I often see no point in doing it. 26 pallets of make-up bags? Morph suits? does anyone need this shite? Agency work with any skilled profession. Agency says want to work for X for Y hours for Z days and you said "yes" or "no" as often as you need. Agency drivers in UK almost have it better than company drivers depending.what you want from your employer. If a company pisses you off you can just leave and tell your agency you refuse to work with them. So you are treated nicely and higher hourly rate also. I should be agency...

I live in a truck Mon-Friday. I spend the weekends at my Mom's who lives near my friends and grandparents. I pay her a couple of hundred a month to cover costs and to pay my way. I buy £20-30 of groceries for my coolbox each week. Could get it cheaper but the cheaper supermarket is a longer walk. All on-road expenses, parking, bought food, fuel, tolls, are covered by my company. I don't have time to spend my money. Realised all I need is water to clean with and some food. As long as I can clean …

I remember Boris Johnson wrote an appeal or something to make safer lorries/trucks in London. Great idea I fully support it. He emphasised the death of female cyclists as being bad. In the face of these "behemoths" on the roads. Fuck men i guess. As a male cyclist and truck driver, fuck his attitude. All cyclists matter and all road users should be made safer and be taught how to behave around other road users. On about violence. Every partner I have has has hit me, with force, in anger.

Nothing moral about doing a task you are trained in to provide services to complete strangers... nope nothing righteous about that at all. People working have bought everything around her in that photo to her. Only way people can practice their right to shelter food and water is if people work at building houses, producing food and cleaning raw water into drinkable water. Why doesn't she become a builder and practice what she preaches about "right to shelter"? That would be too much I suppose.

Forklift driver at work left his forklift that was unloading my truck to go flirt with a secretary going to her car. 6 trucks were queueing waiting for unloading at the end of the day. Absolutely pathetic behaviour from a grown man. I gave him an ear of airhorn until he got back onto his forklift. Pathetic behaviour. I won't ever forgive him for wasting my time like that. Absolute bastard.

Freedom of the traffic office telling you to do more more more! It is a good trade but it is far from stressless and carefree. Find passion in the vehicles, the traveling and following the regulations properly because the rest is paperwork hijinks and traffic office bullshit which is enough to break people. The bureaucracies get more Kafkaesque everyday (looking at you Felixstowe based distribution centre) so just laugh or you will cry.
