In college i was at a party and got cornered by a girl who was drunk, so was I but she was obviously more drunk then me, and she just would leave me alone. She kept trying to kiss me and I was not having any of it because she was drunk. Fast forward five years, I try to bring this up at a work meeting about sexual harassment protocols and get shut down. I tried to stand my ground about it but one girl stood up for me while the others brushed it off.

I like Captain Marvel. Thought it was a good super hero movie. What I didn’t like was all the stuff that came out afterwards; her complaining about life and getting overtly political threw me off.

I understand what you are saying. Now, the first date isn't going to be at some fancy, extravagant restaurant. This would be like some cafe or if we are walking around somewhere and want to grab a quick bite to eat. Somewhere in the range of ~$35? If the bill was around $100, now thats different.

So if you offer to split the check but the guy says he will take care of it, would you still insist on splitting? I agree with you on the last part, in my last relationship we would take turns paying the check.

I agree. If I randomly call a woman up and ask would you like to go out to dinner with me? I would pick up the tab. As most people said, dinner dates are not good first dates.

I would say it depends on the situation. If I ask a girl out to dinner, I would pay the entire bill. Now if we are on the third or fourth dinner date and we had both previously decided to go, not one randomly asking, then we should split because it was mutually agreed upon. I also think that the conversation about splitting the check should be had before the check even comes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
