OYS 11-12: #5 34, 6’1” 159 lbs. Wife 33, married 10 years. Read: NMMNG, WISNIFG, TRM, TWOTSM, Sex God Method, Book of Pook. Reading: Mike Busch on Engines, recently finished Can’t Hurt Me audiobook. Got banned, re-evaluated, failed a lot, wasted a bunch of time, and had limited success. Educated myself on symptoms of addiction, realized porn was a much bigger problem than I thought it was. Quit watching porn. 10-31 was day 1 without. Lifting has been consistent, but with a focus on cardio and fl…

OYS 7-6: #4 34, 6’1” 158 lbs. Wife 32, married 9 years. Squat 210, Dead 245, OHP 95, Bench 155. Reading: WISNIFG. 12 Rules for life. Assertiveness: I mostly STFU this week. Work schedule meant I was away from home more than normal. I spent a lot of time being angry this week. I’m not angry now. I realized that I think my anger over my life is occluding my ability to think clearly. I read an old post about moving past the anger phase, I found some helpful perspective there. While I was on the roa…

OYS 6-29: #3 34, 6’1” 156 lbs. Wife 32, married 9 years. Squat 210, Dead 240, OHP 95, Bench 155. Reading: WISNIFG. I revised my format to better reflect what I want to work on. I was struggling with not knowing what to write, so this is intended to help that issue. Assertiveness: Reading WISNIFG has helped me realize that this is probably my biggest problem, and it’s motherfucking massive. I talk around problems, I don’t speak my mind, I blame myself and soften messages instead of stating proble…

OYS 6-24: #2 34, 6’1” 153 lbs. Married 9 years. Squat 210, Dead 240, OHP 95, Bench 155. Reading: WISNIFG. Also re-reading “12 rules for life.” After that I’ll be re-reading the sidebar and TRM. Lifting: My food intake has improved very slightly, although it could improve a lot more. The goal is 175lbs, lean, and flexible. I’m trying to keep a spine injury from getting worse. Tracking food, and consistent high calorie supplementation and protein are the short-term goals here. Looking at the app I…

Interesting question. I say that because it's probably the clearest example I have of setting a long-term goal, working the process, and achieving it. Not that it's "done," and I never have to work at it or pursue opportunities within my position... but I'm in a scenario of maintenance vs. construction.

OYS 6-8: #1 34, 6’1” 148 lbs. Married 9 years. Squat 205, Dead 240, OHP 95, Bench 155. Reading: TRM, Sidebar, going to read it again and adding WISNIFG. Also re-reading “12 rules for life.” Lifting: I’ve been working with a trainer, and it helps. I’ve been lazy the last couple of months though, and it’s caused me to lose some of the gains I made. At my heaviest I was 161, and when I started at the gym a while back I was 134. I want to make it to 175 and be strong and flexible. I must get the foo…

I'm going to start reading some of those again and adding “when I say no I feel guilty.” Also re-reading and taking notes on “12 rules for life" before I start the sequel.
