No, it's because you're literally on a starvation diet. Your body is trying to conserve as much energy as possible by limiting energy expenditure. A normal person eat about 1500-2000 calories a day, I eat only 600 a day, if I don't exercise I get fat quick. Genetics do influence it, a lot. But truth be told my case is pretty severe and rare but still does exist. Just because of my condition I won't get out of my way to yell at fit people and tell everyone obesity is healthy. It's worst than I initially thought, this ideal is expanding, here in Brazil I thought was equilibrated turns out it isn't, we are teaching boys that they are slaves, when they grow up the majority won't see a problem with it, we need to act, as did the first feminists, we need to show the world the devastation that this ideal will cause, we need to allow this to be said, but we also need to say our side of the history, for all of you people, man or woman who are here to fight for a better world…

True, I see feminism in the USA pretty much useless in the north but necessary in the south, here in Brazil we need a little in India we need a lot, I think it's more about moderation and respect to all than "empowering" woman. Thanks for listening have a good day and a wonderful life.

Just because it is written somewhere doesn't mean it is true or work that way, as you pointed feminism should be about gender equality and it is in some parts of the world, but not in the United states and some other countries, please don't ignore this sub just because you read that feminism is good. Some claims here are very real and pointing to an huge problem, futhermore if people start to use a word to transmit a idea different from what it really mean the previous definition become obsolete…

I've seen this too, some people here are really just after an excuse to hate, however some points that are made here are too real to ignore. I fight for the better, woman are different from man and that's normal, what isn't normal Is to attack or oppress someone based in their gender, glad to hear that you are not a radical hate-motivated person, keep strong and don't let anyone stop you from sharing you ideias, in a debate we always end better than we started, it was a honour talking to you.
