I've been debating (fighting?) with my female friend over the existence of sexism against men. We used to work at the same place until the owner fired all the guys.If you can prove it was wrongful. At this point, most employers can cite being late, performance, attitude, etc... Which pretty much means you can be fired for anything. As long as froyo lady can say it was coincidence that only males were fired, I doubt it would get traction (despite it being BS). | /r/MensRights | 27/12/13 08:50 PM
Looks like hate speech based on a specific gender only applies if the gender is female.Welp. Looks like they just got reported again. Hate based on gender? What's a good word for hate... I know! Hate. Now, to pick a gender... oh, right males don't apply! Fuck it! YOU'RE APPROVED. edit: Oh, look, nothing was found to be in violation of anything. If it wouldn't get me killed, I would start a group called 'I hate women', then slowly begin breaking it down to see what their standard is. "I hate Black Men", "I Hate Gays"- but keep the content 'funny.' [Like this gem from "I Hate Men."]… | /r/MensRights | 25/09/13 09:37 PM
I always hated the "False Equivalency" comic.Duh. Clearly the romance novel industry is a patriarchal business, leaving oppressive rapists to further the agenda of convincing us that their own male power fantasies are also what we want. Monopolizing and propagandizing.. | /r/MensRights | 04/08/13 10:06 AM
Mom abandons kids for 11 years. No child support to the father. "Nothing illegal" Link to the story inside. My mom was supposed to pay. Never did- and not a damned thing happened. | /r/MensRights | 03/05/13 12:32 AM
Why SRS became a Feminist sanctuaryThank you for posting this! I've often wondered why I feel like there's no movement in my conversations with folks. I experience this style of 'debate' on reddit every so often. Sometimes someone steps in to clear things up and ends it in a friendly manner. Most of the time they disappear. | /r/MensRights | 31/03/13 06:00 PM
Imagine the converse, and the backlash that would follow (Hartford Courant: womYn are nonviolent and are never criminals)It is a vile thing to make exceptions for all but one group of folks, unless they've earned it (I should say I mean saying no to Westboro picketing a funeral under the guise of free speech and assembly, as they could just as easily express these views without being a public nuisance and disrespectful as fuck). I don't think you should be downvoted for asking questions. | /r/MensRights | 03/03/13 07:06 PM
