Like stated, it's possible for beginners. Beginners can gain up to 27 pounds their first year by calculations. After the noob gains are over there are diminishing returns until you reach the point where you might be lucky to put on 5 pounds in a year if that. Now if he was already an intermediate lifter then yeah I'd call BS but if he was just starting 15 pounds is definitely doable though an exact timeframe would make things easier to believe.

This is such a pervasive myth and I see it parroted over and over. The Daraprim price hike affected insurance companies but Shkreli basically gave it away to those who couldn't afford it. Not to mention it's a toxoplasmosis drug, people act like tons of patients were dying from AIDS needing this to save their lives or something which couldn't be any further from the truth.

15 pounds is easily possible in a few months if you're new to lifting. Most your gains happen very quickly then taper off. "Noob gains" are real. I went from 150 pounds skinny-fat to 175 pounds lean in about a year. If you go by the calculations of Alan Aragon and Lyle McDonald, 2 highly respected guys a complete noob can expect 18-27 pounds of lean mass gain in a year, about 1.5 - 2.25 pounds per month.

Clearly you have no clue what you're talking about. Male testosterone levels have been plummeting for decades now, it's increasingly more common for men in their 30s, even 20s having very low T. There's much speculation about what's causing the drop but no real solid evidence or research to really pinpoint any one culprit. Not much research seems to be going into it because it's a men's health issue which means most don't really seem to care about it nor does it get any media attention. OP was s…

"there is no way your 6ft and under 140" What? This is very common. My best friend is 6ft and weighed 125 pounds in high school. It's called being an extreme ectomorph. Also had a German friend who was 6'5" and weighed 150.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
