| 1 | Struggling with losing wife of 25 yearsYou will find the right one that allows you to open up on your timeline. Don’t settle for any less. You deserve it and love exists. Just be open to finding it. Forgive yourself for past transgressions. Understand why you acted the way you did and then forgive yourself. I don’t know you but I believe most people try to do their best. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/08/26 03:39 PM |
| 1 | Struggling with losing wife of 25 yearsFor me, when it happened, my wife was my whole world. The kids, and her were the biggest things in my life. Grief was huge and as my life seemed small. As my hobbies and experiences expanded, the grief seemed smaller because of my new life. NOw, I am remarried and my new wife is the best. She is amazing and my ex is increasingly showing more and more instability. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/08/26 11:58 AM |
| 9 | Struggling with losing wife of 25 yearsThis worked for me. Start therapy. Start walking to process things and work on your fitness. Don’t start drinking or drugs. Tell the therapist the truth. Take time to process the loss of a relationship. Cry. Ask the God of your choice to help direct you. Realize that grief stays the same size, your life is what expands as you move farther and farther from the divorce. Things will get better. Good luck. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/08/26 03:06 AM |
| 5 | Losing my mindI walked about 8 miles a day just to clear my head. I lost 30 pounds in 3 months. Street therapy is better than booze. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/08/26 08:20 PM |
