He comes right up to getting it but cant make the final leap. Women marry for kids. Men marry for sex. If you want kids then, until men get the kids by default, marriage makes no sense. The sex will stop as soon as she gets what she wants (kids). If you don't want kids marriage never makes sense. This basic asymetry between male and female goals used to be balanced by social and legal pressure. All of the balance is gone but men are still led like sheep to slaughter.

The dont help you farm more land or hunt bigger game. So the economic incentives are gone. Other people educate them, train them for work and they're expected to leave the nest at 18. Cant put them to work. They're liable to call cps on you or record you and upload it to the net. no guarantee you'll even like them or that they'll like you. i wont knock other people for doing it but i see no point for me personally.
