JP, if I understand you correctly, your logic is something like this: All single mothers are completely responsible for their being single and for their having kids. Single motherhood negatively affects women in some way. Therefore, all such women, no matter the age of the youngest child, are short-sighted and shallow or worse. Is that about right?

"Single mother" tells you nothing of the sort. You can't even claim it's 80% of the cases. Widows. Video seems to be a teaser-trailer for something called the TheRepresentationProject.org. Apparently, young boys being raised "to be a man" leads to loneliness, anger, suppressed rage, which leads to violence and self-ostracism. I agree the latter are problems, but I shudder to think of a generation of men who are not hardened to be self-sufficient and austere in the face of adversity.
