This post makes me think about Skrillex. He is 5'4", has a crazy haircut and when I first heard his voice, I tbh thought he sounded kind of annoying and far from charismatic. Not an alpha male. But he has mastered his life. Not only girlfriend-ed the beautiful Ellie Goulding but has her wanting to be him. 3 grammies. Worldwide following. Defines cool to a generation. Millions of people watch videos of his glorified life on youtube. You might not like him but, for what he's going for, what isn't …

Well, personally I don't see a problem with keeping the conversation going while you're in the store, as long as you don't get too invested. If you're going to open her again, say you've gotta catch the bus soon (false time constraint, plus she might want to come with you). Then playfully neg her on her food choices. That makes her qualify herself to you, rather than her feeling that you think too much of her having just met her. Because in your world, YOU are the prize! And if "Alright, what's …

I like the attitude. But from your first FR, I think this quote "When I finish I find her and tell her, "Well you seem cool let's get coffee sometime, what's your #?"" is where you went wrong. If you can remember, did it seem at all forced or desperate? Like she could tell you were planning on finding her again the whole time? Because it might give away a different attitude than the one you were having before (not caring). It's incongruent.

Thanks for the good advice. Honestly, I won't pursue it though. I feel like I must have had clouded eyes before because I saw her at the gym again but she looked unattractive, I barely recognized her. Even more than that, where she seemed confident and sexy before (yoga pants and all that) she was now wearing a big old t-shirt and seemed to just want to get through the work out. So I understand why "confidence is sexy," in body language and all of that.

I'm a young inexperienced gym rat, she's a cougar. Ok. So when I go to the gym, I notice that some older women act, not to be rude, but like creepy old men in that I definitely get a vibe that they notice me. And this one woman last week practically followed me around the gym, doing the machines near what I was doing. But I had approach anxiety, especially because she was checking me out so I'm sure as hell checking her out as well. I was really Beta but I'm assuming she took it as me rejecting …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
