I havn't thought deeply about it but my gut reaction is they didn't do the same crime as the murders so they shouldn't get the same punishment. BUT on the flip side, that law discourages people to become associated with crimes. Perhaps, and you'd have to do a case study, it discourages crime such that you get less crimes overall while some people taking more time in prison. In my opinion, in the separate argument about how hard laws should be, I think that having some criminals go free is better…

The question is whether being an accomplice to a murder is actually equivalent to committing the crime

You're being downvoted but you're right that we don't know her defence. The article was all about her convictions and the 'story'. It's plausible. People have done worse things at gunpoint but we don't have any video or testimonials to clear things up

15 year olds don't like blowjobs from anyone, hence the crack whore example. Get that through your head, bruh. You're still imagining the rapist as someone who you actually want a blowjob from.

In your mind you imagine some beautiful woman that you actually want to get a blowjob from but by definition of rape you wouldn't have wanted it (not consented) so imagine an ugly crack whore with herpies and STDs in her mouth wanting to give you a blowjob NOW tell me you'd be happy to be sexually assulted

I don't think you're required to ask but if there's suspicion and you don't ask then you can be held accountable for intentionally not asking. If they look convincingly 26 and you're 100% convinced whether or not they say it, if you never had suspicions and you're brought to court (and can show that), then you're all good I'm pretty sure

it's all contextual Some of it IS contextual such as physical and mental maturity BUT on average and far largely it's a factor of age which is what the law grabs onto because its well defined and is largely a very good indicator of whether it'll "mess them up" in some way

Although I have been conditioned by society to expect women are less likely to seek sex so part of me thinks a 15 y.o. girl is more likely to be "messed up" by it. How do gender roles contribute to whether a child would get "messed up" by it or not? The psychological effects of sex on children are independent of their gender and only a function of their age and some less significant circumstantial factors. If you think circumstances (not including their gender roles but maybe their gender) such …

lol I agree with you but no reason to unsub. I bet you're continuing to be downvoted because you're rage quitting and people see that as attention seeking though I doubt that's actually why you're saying that.

Honestly, when I'm on the sub I'm specifically looking for denied pussy passes so this was kind of disappointing because of how its off topic. There's plenty of subs for this kind of stuff but not here

A problem with the mens rights movement in general is a prominent anti-feminist theme. Feminism is theoretically about equality between men and womens rights (although 3rd wave feminism is closely associated with SJW cultur3 so the less extreme feminists-by-definition might feel disassociated) so to have a mens rights movement should be unnessesary. That at least hints there's some other way the movement distinguishes itself from the 3rd wave feminist movement and I think that that difference is…

When I typed /r/theredpill I was thinking about how they have the "mens rights" post filter button. I see what you mean though. I think /r/mensrights probably also has a split between the stereotypical /r/theredpill extremists and the more reasonable "mens rights movement should work along side womens rights movement" group who might also be from /r/justiceporn.

/r/pussypassdenied attracts two kinds of people: those from /r/justiceporn and those from /r/mensrights or /r/theredpill.

Could you explain the bias? I honestly am having a hard time reading into this story.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
