tldr; Based on what authority did you give your advice? As someone who has dealt with employing, both the emails depicted here are pretty poor. I'd also like to point out that any hiring manager worth their salary isn't likely to "take his sweet time" over a nudge email just for shits and giggles, especially if they need someone to work. That fact that you've said 75% of your bank account is her family's money and you're pissed off and emotional about something that, really, you shouldn't be con…

Internalising the fact that ultimately the only thing that is real is your experience of the world. This means that your time and effort are the most valuable commodities you control. Why waste time under other people's orders, judgement or intimidation when it is only your mindset that allows it. Start saying no, stop explaining yourself at every opportunity, don't complain and value your time. The rest will come naturally as you hit this shift as you'll know what's best for you in any given si…

I don't have time to give an extended answer currently, but I recommend going through [or re-reading] the Required Theory Reading in the sidebar, specifically from Relationships, the Red Pill, and You down to Powertalk and other Language Categories. This should be a solid start for what you want to know.

I think you may have misread the situation, questions like that are an IOI. Shutting them down completely is the equivalent of friendzoning her. First line was fun, well done for that one - but your follow up was a bit awkward. If you wanted to hear the speeches I would have run the situation as so: Her: "What was a life changing event for you" You: "I'm hoping this will be, I want to listen but I'll take you for coffee [or drinks, or food...] later so we can talk." Sets your boundaries, but sho…

Don't use seven words when four will do Rusty, Ocean's 11 Re-read what you just wrote. Don't read your message, read the words you're using. I'm willing to bet your ideology of yourself and whatever it is that drives you to write like that is the issue.

Go out with her friends this weekend and sleep with one of them instead. Or, just keep control of your emotions - stop flirting back, acknowledge and move on.

Just remember that reading up on motivation, discipline and improvement does not equal motivation, improvement and discipline. The best thing to do is write down a list of goals, break them down into measurable and achievable milestones and get off the internet and into real life.

Thanks for the honest response. One last thing (this has piqued my interest for personal reasons): Do you see this as an indefinitely sustainable relationship?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the read. Some good examples of lines in there, too. I think maybe what you're getting at, which would be useful for people who use this sub, is that a demand to "bring the banter" is a more subversive way of saying "I don't deal with boring guys". The takeaway being high-energy, fun conversation is a prerequisite before engaging them. This obviously means the guy would need to be confident, a bit cocky and fun to chat with. Introverts, socially awkwards need not ap…

I've read this through twice and I'm still not sure what it's about...? Banter, if we take a dictionary definition, is "the playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks." Which both of your exchanges demonstrate. It's a normal social protocol. From the exchanges you've quoted you sound pretty good at the teasing and interacting etc. But I can't work out if this post is a humblebrag or has instructional value for anyone here?

Dread game won't work, she's not invested in you. Her replying "Sorry just got your texts" indicates she has no interest in what you were saying. I imagine your very drunk texts were not the most eloquent, seductive messages. They most likely had the complete opposite effect of what you were trying to achieve. You've probably lost any chance with this one, so don't waste your time, spend it exploring other options.

Can you explain what exactly your "masculine frame" is? I don't understand and need a bit of a context there, it might help with the advice we can give. Also, there's a couple of points I want to address: Breaking other people's shit, even if you didn't mean to, is not okay. You fucked up, you own it and you apologise. Shut down the shouting, yes, but you're in the wrong here. Why are you getting angry? Anger is a lack of self-control and wholly unTRP. Keep your cool, be assertive. Reads as thou…

I'm not going to answer the question posed, instead I want to offer another perspective... I'm not that into her we meet. 2-3 times a week. I know I should just ditch her. But I want to keep her while I build my SMV. If you're seeing her 2-3 times a week and having sex each time you meet (which lasts for 1hr 15mins), I imagine it's not a meet up, fuck and go kind of situation. So let's say you average (conservatively) 3 hours per meeting. 3 hours, 3 times a week is 9 hours. A whole work day. You…

Stop projecting. A lot of guys will meet a girl, think that girl is special and pedestal them. The common advice of plate up and fuck around is solid as a distraction but from my personal experience and conversations with my friends about oneitis (though I never called it that) it seems to boil down to one thing. You begin imagining things about her. You imagine interactions and events with that one girl. How awesome would it be if I said this to her, and she reacted in this way and gave me a fl…

Agree. Be selfish for a while, in regards to your time and money. Don't let anything interrupt you improving yourself and setting yourself up physically, financially and socially - but when you're there selfishness isn't the right mindset and will limit the extent of your relationships.

I have some of the best, driven male friends I could want. I'm relatively young in my profession, but have a position and salary that would usually be assumed by someone ~5 years older. I also like to think I'm very good at what I do - due to the goals and learning I put it in earlier on. Relatively fit (physically). Work has taken over in the last few months and I've recently moved so at the end of September I'll be back to a gym - when I find one. Life is pretty good, I know what I want and, w…

There were 5 of us in the group, each of us were either studying and working on different things - but once a month (usually the last weekend) we'd all get together and do the following: I've just dragged up an old meeting schedule from far too many years ago. Book discussion, followed by next month's book choice. Media (film, documentary, articles etc.) discussion, followed by next month's choice. Review individual goals from the month. Review any issues for discussion, critique or development.…

'maybe later in the week or some other time' This isn't her suggesting another time. If she wanted to see you: She would be there tonight If she legitimately couldn't make tonight, she would give an alternative date, time and place. Let this one go, spend your evening in the gym or in that same bar having a great time by yourself.

I don't see a reason to respond here. She's flaked but you're a busy man, you looked at the text, "never mind, I can go do x, y or z" you thought, and carried on working or doing something you enjoyed. That's how it went, right?

Although not entirely TRP based, Mastermind groups have existed from time immemorial. Myself and a few friends formed one whilst we were at university and the benefits were amazing. Although not strictly discussing TRP there was a big crossover in topics. There would be a book to read per month, that we discussed at each "meeting", physical, social and educational/professional challenges that each would have to complete and report back on. We'd also discuss any projects or obstacles we'd met tha…

Run over Part V again, Chapter 13 in particular, and give yourself an honest critique. Saying what you want to say and being true to yourself is great, but there are infinite ways to present a message - you need to tune into the situation and figure out the appropriate response (A+A, flip etc.). If people are trying to "shit" on your face, there seems to be either a lack of respect on their part or you're giving them the opportunity to do that. As /u/CrimsonCapital has said, playful teasing and …

I am not afraid being an asshole anymore. Being an asshole is unattractive. There's a difference between putting yourself first and being an unapproachable/arrogant dick. Sidebar material and Models by Mark Manson.

It sounds as though you're hitting a mental wall: I tried to ask and heard myself ask for the number in my head, but my mouth wouldn't move. I'm not sure how popular this advice will be here, but I've used it before on social sticking points and it has helped. Ultimately it boils down to practice. Not as in, go out and ask 100 girls for their number. Just imagine you're in a situation where you've been chatting to a girl and you're at the point of asking for her number. Freeze the frame and take…

How much of the TRP stuff have you actually read? Anything past a few posts you'd know this isn't a place to bitch and whinge - in fact, you should know that you don't do this at all. But, now you've snapped, anger can be a great motivator. Today, go through all the sidebar material. Get hold of Mark Manson's Models. Stop whining, start improving. And join a gym.

girlfriend claims I raped her because she asked me to stop and I didn't That is rape. I understand you weren't actually trying to hurt her or coerce her, no malignant motive etc. But the fact of the matter is she asked you to stop and you carried on. Sorry but this is emotional abuse and blackmailing. It isn't. She just said stop so how was I to know. She can't get much clearer than that. In fact, our anniversary was the first time we had sex drunk since the very start of our relationship - mayb…

Considering you don't enjoy her company, I wouldn't have been bothered by being uninvited. There a plenty of other things to occupy your time - fair enough, changing plans late isn't ideal - but doesn't warrant losing your cool over. Socially, I'm an asshole Could this be the reason they have a problem with you? TRP isn't about being a dickhead to everyone.

bartender/manager, it's a family place so the title barely means much. How managerial are you? From a lot of what you've said it seems as though the girl in question has no professional respect for you. How clear cut is the hierarchy? If you are a bartender, but because it's a small family business you help out with some of the other responsibilities but aren't in fact a manager, then her response is not unwarranted. If they are unaware of your professional authority over them, if it exists, the…
