For the record I am also firmly against 0-strikes policy states and rulings. A company should have to make a clear distinction and set precedent for terminating an employee and have it be grounded to a tangible and producible upon request and documented issues with the company like absenteeism, quota, behavior at work, and just general task management.

If hes a PoS if his behavior starts affecting the workplace IE people coming in and harassing him or warding people from the building then its a matter of productivity and profit.
