Some women enjoy objectivization and sexualization if they are attracted to the man and they consent to it. Attraction can be physical looks, or an emotional connection, or both. Sometimes they’ll bypass not having emotional connection if the guy is attractive enough but some women need it.

If it’s maintenance then why aren’t men expected to do it to an equivalent amount? Or when they do it’s quantified as service? If all women never did these things as they came into womanhood there would be nothing to maintain and the population would look different to you. There are also flirting and behavior tips given to women that aren’t “maintenance”.

These men think that because we can easily have sex with many men, where they probably are just masturbating with our body and at worst could even assault us, there’s no way women could be sad or lonely.

It’s dehumanizing and unfair to men that women choose alternatively shaped sex toys instead of ones that look exactly like their penises! /s

Just that it wasn’t a great solution for preventing rape. Disappointing because I like the sound of instant repercussions for someone doing something as vile as rape. Unfortunately it lead to even more cruelty against women.

I get you’re being sarcastic but it’s true. At least grandparent age women got married around the cusp of when women were legally allowed bank accounts and managing their own finances (1970s). So a lot of them married for stability, not love. The further women progress from that the more normalized it is for them to financially support themself, so a man isn’t necessarily needed to survive. They can choose marriage or partnership for love, not survival. I feel like rp/incels are proof of this. W…

You phrase that like it’s a correction of what someone said, but I don’t see anyone else claiming that 2% of men are subject to false rape allegations. Sorry, I was pulling the text from another comment I made, I should’ve added the clarification that whenever someone shares that the false accusation rate is X, they act like it means that’s the rate of likelihood a man will be falsely accused. The progression of feminism has grown to include more women beyond the rich and white. Not sure what’s so ugly about that. Women have to keep being annoying feminists because men so quickly forget that we haven’t always had the rights we have today and they are still violated at times and even stand the risk of being taken away. Also your argument is basically saying “he’s right, I also have merged the actions of multiple women into an imaginary boogeyman to justify my disdain for women”

About ruining mens reputations- Even men obviously guilty of sexual assault aren’t held accountable. Think of all the outed celebrity rapists walking free. The “false accusation” line is so irrelevant. False rape accusations are 2%-10% of accusations. Not happening to 2% of the population. So if 3% of women are raped or allege rape and 10% of those are false accusations, that means .3% of men involved in a rape accusation are falsely or baselessly accused. There are, you just have to look harder as your results are tailored to your tastes. The over saturation of sexually attractive female models doesn’t exist with the purpose of informing women what they should strive to be. They exist because men have more disposable income, are controlled by their urges and deprived of affection. It’s also a societal norm for women to accentuate their looks and use it to their gain (although not without a dose of shame). There are some examples of attractive men…

Some scummy men will be bothered when a woman wants to pay her share because he was hoping later he could use the free dinner as a reason she owes him sex. Talking about bands I like, just having a genuine conversation. It’s different for every woman, we’re not a hivemind. But having these common interests plus physical attraction makes me open to hooking up. I’m not saying chad level attractiveness, that’s fine, but I also like unconventional looks. That being said, it’s bs that women aren’t visual. Some are, some aren’t. Most people in general can appreciate physical beauty, men just present themselves in this way less.

U/ockwards seems to be making a rational argument to me. You’re saying if women can’t have children, don’t have skills, and aren’t rich, they’re useless? By the same logic, if a man can’t provide for children, don’t have skills, and aren’t rich, they’re useless too.

You say straight up it’s a fantasy ie not a need or human right. It’s only outlawed as far as marrying multiple women, you’re welcome to have multiple consenting girlfriends or have mfffff orgies. In these other cultures where this is encouraged, the woman participate because of financial desperation or lack of rights and choices. It sounds like the way males needs aren’t being put first is the need to have women be disenfranchised so they can take advantage of them.

That goes to show how little you think of women. The majority of people don’t like to be degraded casually. There’s a portion of people that enjoy it as a sexual kink, which they’re allowed to do. But for dating and relationships, women don’t just ignore being dehumanized because a man is so handsome. That’s red pill fanfiction.

So you want the garbage quality sex. Because for you it’s good (her needs are ignored). But it’s bad for her, making the whole concept less desirable.

How does any man get penalized for saying something degrading? It doesn’t matter how attractive a man is, if he sees my gender as sub human I want nothing to do with him. Only a very shallow woman would be cool with a dude being openly misogynistic just because he’s a chad.

Things in life worth having generally aren’t easy. If they were, it wouldn’t be as satisfying. You could apply this to women’s ambivalence towards easily available casual sex. I feel like it’s been repeated here before that the casual sex we can get is such garbage quality that it’s not even worth it.

So many men here wish they had easier access to casual sex. If women were to start putting out more often with less discretion, these men might get laid and would gladly contribute to the body count for casual sex. But for a relationship it’s a deal breaker. Sounds like a Madonna whore complex.

Your reasoning for women having it easier these days is the internet= endless attention and validation. You might see a lot of women constantly showing off their bodies online but that’s not how everyone lives. Most people post normal stuff- if they get the “attention” you’re speaking of for those posts it’s by dudes objectifying them and being gross. And then some women barely post themselves at all. I think if women made more money and there were more financially desperate men that male strip clubs would work. And then a cultural shift towards woman spending frivolous money on their own pleasure- so people would actually invest in opening the strip clubs.

I’m fine with putting in the work. But if women have things so easy, they shouldn’t have to ruthlessly vet men for their own safety. It would be easy if the men were typically well intentioned and not wearing a mask.

Honest question- in what ways have you been treated as a threat everywhere? I wonder if some expectations are skewed by most media (until recently) portraying “good” women as submissive, welcoming, accommodating, warm, optimistic, whatever. And then encountering a woman in real life being neutral (or worse, not fitting this ideal woman) seems like she’s treating you poorly.

It’s weird, some guys in this thread think that they are horny enough that rape attempts on them would be consensual or turn consensual eventually. Rape and consensual sex are two different things. It doesn’t matter if you have low standards and would have consensual sex with a lot of women. That just means you’re less likely to be raped I guess. If you’re raped you don’t want it, it’s not a matter of letting yourself enjoy it.

Rainn surveys victims that DID document assaults, going through all the uncomfortable and inconvenient steps through the justice system. There is literally no incentive for them to lie. Low is arbitrary. 3% vs .0002% is a huge difference, the former is so much more likely. If you can think of 100 people you know and three of them have been raped, is that not a problem to you?

That study found information from searching publicized assaults, as opposed to rainn statistics which survey victims who have gone to the justice department. Also “low” is arbitrary when talking statistics. Chances of getting hit by lightning are .0002% According to your article, in the area of lowest prevalence, Asia (which could have a bias because of publication frequency), the odds are 3.3% It’s pretty clear those aren’t even close unless you’re being willfully ignorant.

False rape accusations are around 5%. Not all of these rapes in this study are reported to police, just to the RAINN. Women have been allowed to almost fully participate in society for 50 years. Do you think all of those problems just disappeared overnight and don’t exist for younger women? There’s also a difference between wanting independence to survive as a human being who happens to be a woman and... admitting the patriarchy exists?
