body positivity is a way of teaching people to love themselves and their body despite what they look like - this doesn't only concern weight. fat acceptance is a way for overweight people to justify their unhealthy lifestyle and i agree that this is a very toxic movement. because in the end it is true that overweight people are unhealthy and we shouldn't be encouraging this way of living. we need to be able to distinguish between these 2.

i found several articles claiming that women in Ancient Greece were seen as lesser than men. the thing with property varied from city-state to city-state. in some city-states women were allowed to own property but then in some they were prohibited from doing so and had to have been completely dedicated to their fathers and later to their husbands. i never said that they were kept as prisoners and i never even saw such a claim.
