I'm gonna start advice in what constitutes sexism from /R/pussypassdenied at about the same time as I am gonna start taking advice in what constitutes racist from /R/the_Donald. Thanks for your suggestion though.

I have nothing against crude humour. I just find that there is correlation that many "unfunny" famous US female comedians are outspoken on political and social issues, on and off stage. So a lot dudes happen trash their comedy as being unfunny when they find themselves o the opposite side of the argument.

Mostly the later. It's kinda fun to come to a subreddit centered around blatant sexism, and provide counter points to remind everyone that the celebrity that everyone is shitting on became famous because she is an amazing successful and brilliant woman. This place attracts a lot of the "bitter humorless loser" types that are angry at women as a reflection of their own lack of self esteem. It's good to remind them that a lot of them are sad and a lot of women are funny. Good way to rustle jimmies…

Except that most professional comedians recognize Joan Rivers as one of the great comedians of her time. So basically you're ignorant about the subject, never took time to find females comedians who are funny, and just go along spouting your ignorant and uninformed viewpoint to reenforce a sexist moronic statements.

I have a Sarah Silverman anecdote as well. I saw her perform in front of like 10,000 people at the odd ball comedy festival where she was up with great comedians like Hannibal. Her set was one of the best I have heard, the hardest I laughed and she is an amazing comedian. Separately The song where there is a part about Jewish people driving German cars is a killer classic. Sarah Silverman is an amazing comedian and people that don't find her humor great probably have a hard time recognizing come…

So you mom was powerless to escape until her thirteen year old child helped gain the courage. For how many years did the abuse happen until you hatched your brilliant plan? Why did she put if with it for years before leaving? You make it sound like escaping abuse is such a simple act, when you from all people, should be able to draw on your live experience to realize it's not. Maybe because you were and are still just a child.

So what? If the husband is beating a woman, for which their is no excuse since she can't really defend herself, then wouldn't killing the guy is his sleeping make the most sense? If he is awake, he can fight back and if she injures him in his sleep, as opposed to killing him, the abuse will just continue. Sounds like for this battered woman killing the guy in his sleep seems like the most logical thing to do. Life pro tip for guys that are worried that because of 'battered woman's syndrome' thei…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
