That TRP is evil has become a meme in itself... most of the people who rag on TRP have probably never even read a single post here. They just know that bitching about it gives them karma, so they do it. It's sad that most Redditors can be trained with positive reinforcement just like they're rats in a lab or something.

The longer I've been here, the more I've realized that Reddit is a piece of shit. The voting system means only the lowest common denominator will prosper, and only tiny subreddits actually have good content. Then the mods are all power-hungry SJW assholes who will do anything to feel important. And, as the recent demise of 4chan shows, the SJWs will always find a way to seize control.... we should be on the watch for an SJW trying to become a mod here. If they haven't tried yet, they will in the…

Big Bang Theory is just an awful show in general. Every joke is either "the nerds are nerdy" or "the hot girl is dumb." Gets old fast.

Everyone naturally has some need for closeness with other people. Homo sapiens is a social animal. That's just evolution. If you're some total sociopath who never gets lonely, congratulations I guess, but you're definitely in the minority. That where a lot of the frustration comes from in TRP I think: it's not just about sex, we also want to be truly loved by a woman, and we realize that's basically impossible.

Perhaps because they don't need to be? Any attractive girl can get into college, graduate with a 3.0 in something useless, get an internship or entry-level job based on looks, and then snag some beta bucks. If the goal is making a lot of money, men need to be somewhat intelligent to do that. Women just need to be physically attractive. It doesn't surprise me they spend more time at a tanning salon than in the library.

Stay busy and distract yourself. Personally, if I start comparing myself to other people I very quickly fall into a pit of despair and wallow for hours or even days. Accordingly, I make a conscious effort to repress those thoughts and fill my schedule such that I have little time for rumination. If you're always engaged with something, you're much less likely to feel inferior or lonely simply because your mind is on more important things. I'm already a fairly busy guy with school, work, gym, stu…

Take a look at this: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/14/magazine/the-death-of-adulthood-in-american-culture.html That may have been posted on TRP already, idk, but it's about shows like Breaking Bad and Mad Men and how their protagonists are the "last of the patriarchs."

You can't reduce everything to sexual dynamics. RP is important, but viewing literally everything through that lens will cause problems for you.

How can you "walk out"? This is an issue with society, and living alone in the mountains as a hermit isn't exactly a reasonable option.

I think the US should legalize prostitution because it would re-equalize our twisted gender dynamics. Like let's say prostitution becomes legal. Then with how difficult it is now for most men to find reasonable mates, using prostitutes would soon become extremely popular and thus socially acceptable. And once that happened, women who want LTRs would need to develop personalities, respect us, and generally act like human beings. It wouldn't be enough to just have a vagina anymore... sex could no …

It's not as important as you think, and even if it were, there's nothing you can do about your height anyway, so don't worry.

Yeah. I especially pursue girls with psychological problems (daddy issues, depression, etc.) because I like toying with them and think they're more interesting or something (they really aren't though), and it's easy to fall back into beta mode and think you're to blame for their irrational actions and try to make up for them. I think it's best to think of girls as probabilistic automatons: they do follow rules, and you can figure those out to some extent to shape their behavior, but it's never c…

Generally it seems like any dating site/app is useless unless you're in the top ~10% of guys. Most dudes never even get to the text game part, so they get suspicious when they hear these stories that make it look so easy. So, how attractive would you say you are? How much of your success is game and how much of it is simply being an attractive guy who doesn't fail obvious tests?

But you forget the first tenet of feminism: women are always victims, men are always oppressors.

Here's my take: Don't stress about it. Girls, especially the CC-riding ones, are crazy. They don't follow our logic, so don't even try to understand them. With emotions, hormones, etc., sometimes their behavior might as well be random. This is why it's so important to always be talking to multiple girls. When one flakes or does something unexplainable, just forget about her. If she comes back, then cool, if she doesn't, you don't care anyway. (This is a great side-effect of girls being attracted…

Tl;dr Help your fellow brother out, swipe left more often. This is what you're really saying. You want other dudes to use a losing strategy so your 100% right swipe strategy will be more effective for you. This is like trying to game a curved test by telling all your classmates not to study so everyone gets an A. But knowing that not everyone will do that, you yourself study like crazy, screw them over, and set the curve.

Most girls' arbitrary threshold is 6', probably just because it's a round number.

The responses are actually quite reasonable for mainstream Reddit. I'm surprised. Top comment says 1) she's a whore, 2) she's manipulating him so she can view herself as a victim, and 3) he needs to end it.

Is the book worth reading? I've heard the movie is better but I liked other Palahniuk books.

The problem is it's not really law. They just make a committee of some random administrative staff and they decide whether to expel the guy or not. The whole point was to keep the real police and real law out of it so their college doesn't get a bad rap for crime statistics. In other words, it started to hush up crime and is now being used to punish people for non-crimes, so it's fucked up all around. If a rape has allegedly occurred, get real police, a real judge, and a real jury involved.

If anyone regardless of gender escalates the situation (just being pissed off isn't sufficient), then you're allowed to defend yourself and stop them I doubt the police would see it this way though.

Right, but most of us have to learn that the hard way. Few guys have redpill role models, and we're constantly fed feminist myths like "just be yourself" and "be a nice guy."

Did you make any gains while losing weight with that diet? I'm trying to build muscle and lose significant fat (~20 lbs) at the same time, and OP and other sources say that's almost impossible.

I feel like that's a bunch of hogwash that people tell unattractive people so they don't kill themselves :-/ That's one of the most pathetic things i've ever heard. I lol'd. They're telling you the truth dude. Work out, shave your head or keep your remaining hair super short instead of doing a weird combover, and work on game/confidence. I guarantee 99% of girls you know would fuck Tom Cruise, Ryan Gosling, or Jason Statham, even if they weren't rich/famous.

I go to a large-ish, somewhat prestigious university in the northeast US. 20% of the guys fuck 80% of the girls This seems to be true. Even ugly/fat girls have inflated egos where they think they all deserve dudes who are 6'4", thin, muscular, rich, etc. (And the worst thing is they usually end up getting that because those 20% guys have much lower standards than the girls do.) I consider myself average looking, and I never have girls approach me. Even girls who are objectively less attractive t…

Anyone who's ever been in college knows that you're constantly bombarded with surveys, flyers, emails, etc. You ignore all of them, unless you're a political whacko. Hence, all the crazy feminists returned the survey, while the normal people ignored it. I was struck by how they made "attempted forced kissing" an act of sexual assault. They're saying that leaning in to kiss a girl is the same basic thing as raping her. Wtf?

I just want to say good for you for 1) finding happiness and 2) speaking out against a prevailing attitude here. I too think many redpillers focus on sex way too much. It's paradoxical that they'll talk about how harmful being obsessed with women is, yet still judge themselves by what women think of them (in how much pussy they get).

Reminds me of one of Tyler Durden's rants in Fight Club: You are not special. You're not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. We're all part of the same compost heap. We're all singing, all dancing crap of the world.

Getting over the number asking problem: If it's a girl from class I'm talking to as we leave a building or something, sometimes I'll just hand her my phone open to the contacts app. Just keep walking and talking and she'll know what to do without you having to actually ask the question and reveal your uncertainty / lack of confidence in your voice. Obviously this won't apply to every girl, but once you've done that a couple times you might have the confidence to start actually asking. General co…

Yeah to be honest I've never read Beauvoir so idk how crazy she was, and a lot of the old time feminists seem quite sane compared to today's. A hundred or fifty years ago there actually was discrimination... nowadays feminists have to fabricate "oppression" if they want to bitch about something.

Random fact: Sartre had a long term open relationship with Simone de Beauvoir, a founder of feminism.

Look at all the effort she takes in the beginning to prove she's a liberal victim. It's all about her and it's like a resume for SJW approval: abusive childhood, evil religious parent, "very liberal" pro-choice, stoner... she even name-drops Planned Parenthood.

no one is suppressing the western woman anymore But if they admit this then they can't claim their "victim" privileges anymore and no longer have an excuse for never accomplishing anything. Feminism would have died out a long time ago if women didn't love seeing themselves as victims.
